JOSHA STRADOWSKI JOINS ROSAMUND PIKE AND OTHERS IN EPIC FANTASY SERIES WHEEL OF TIME AT AMAZON AS DRAGON REBORN!

Among all of the upcoming epic fantasy TV shows, from See and Witcher to Lord of the Rings, that we are looking forward to is also THE WHEEL OF TIME. I've announced previously that the small screen adaptation of Robert Jordan's book will be toplined by Rosamund Pike, but now Amazon has revealed other names that have joined the cast: Josha Stradowski will take the male lead as Rand al’Thor, with Marcus Rutherford cast as Perrin Aybara and Zoë Robins as Nynaeve. Barney Harris will play Mat Cauthon and Madeleine Madden will play Egwene Al’Vere.

THE WHEEL OF TIME STORY
is set in a rich fantasy world where magic exists, but only certain women are allowed to access it. Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) is a member of an incredibly powerful all-female organization, and the story follows her as she
Marcus Rutherford, Zoe Robins and Barney Harris will also star
arrives in the small town of Two Rivers and embarks on a dangerous, world spanning journey. She is joined by five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn (Josha Stradowski), who will either save or destroy humanity.

  1. It sounds like a vast epic with lots of characters, set in a world where time is cyclical and there's a figure that could save or destroy humanity.
    Well young people will sure be captivated by this fantasy series.

    1. I have a feeling it will (they say none of these actors looks like the characters from the books) as it looks like a teensy affair from the cast... hope I'm wrong. I need all of the epic fantasy series to be amazing!

    2. I was also thinking the cast looked very young, though I haven't read the books. Then again, we are getting old, so maybe we just think they look like babies with our old, decrepit minds :P
