UPLIFTING 'LOUDER THAN WORDS' TRAILER WITH DAVID DUCHOVNY, FUNNY 'MY MAN IS A LOSER' WITH JOHN STAMOS AND MICHAEL RAPAPORT, HILARIOUS 'LIFE AFTER BETH' WITH DANE DEHAAN, AUBREY PLAZA, ANNA KENDRICK

LOUDER THAN WORDS
DAVID DUCHOVNY & HOPE DAVIS
To make your weekend nicer I will entertain you with some nice new, mostly uplifting trailers, starting with the heartwarming one for LOUDER THAN WORDS starring David Duchovny, Timothy Hutton, Hope Davis, Victoria Tennant and REIGN's Adelaide Kane. This touching movie is inspired by true events and tells the poignant story of grieving parents who used the unexpected death of their young daughter as inspiration to build a world class children's hospital. The hospital not only keeps their daughter's memory alive, but has also gone on to help thousands of children and their families, eventually becoming the template for all children's hospitals built thereafter.

MY MAN IS A LOSER
JOHN STAMOS, MICHAEL RAPAPORT AND BRYAN CALLEN
A bit lighter story can be seen in new comedy movie MY MAN IS A LOSER which brings laughs into theatres July 25th starring John Stamos,  Michael Rapaport, Sean Young and Bryan Callen. This hilarious comedy revolves around two married guys (Rapaport and Callen) who employ their single playboy friend (John Stamos) to help them get their mojo back to save their marriages. During the ensuing adventures, things start to backfire leaving the wives to wonder if the new versions of their husbands are worse than the old ones. The interesting marketing campaign of MY MAN IS A LOSER plans to deploy millions of Twitter and Facebook fans and followers in promoting the film with the aim for it to become the heaviest digitally promoted Independent film to date.

LIFE AFTER BETH
WHEN YOUR GIRLFRIEND RETURNS FROM THE DEAD
From heartwarming and then fun, in our third movie today we move onto some bizarre humour in  LIFE AFTER BETH horror comedy coming to cinemas this August in USA and October in UK. Dane DeHaan plays young boy Zach who is devastated after his girlfriend, Beth (Aubrey Plaza), unexpectedly dies. When she suddenly rises from the dead, he sees it as a second chance and decides to do and say every thing he wishes he had while she was still alive. But the problem is that when she comes back from dead, she won't go away.... Anna Kendrick, John C.Reilly, Molly Shannon and Paul Reiser also star.

    1. I haven't either, Debs, I think he usually appears in those unnoticeable supporting roles....

  3. I'd love to see Louder Than Words. For some reason, stories about losing a child always fascinate me, even though I don't have children myself. Great selection today.

  10. Life After Beth does seem bizarre!!
A John Stamos movie might be fun.
I'm afraid the David Duchovny movie might be way too sad for me though. A friend lost her 11 yr old son a year ago so may hit too close to home. She also created a foundation in his name and does wonderful things for others in memory of him.

    1. he is only a supporting role. I've never seen him in anything outside MAD ABOUT YOU, which was decades ago

    2. He was in a few other things and wrote books. Two of which I have, and love, and reread from time to time. He's one of my favorite writers, so of course, I want to see his name up there, even in a supporting role.

    3. I think I don't have an emotional connection with him because I largely avoided MAD ABOUT YOU because I've never liked that Hunt woman :)
      Does he write cook books?

    4. What don't you like about Helen Hunt?

    5. She was bad in all the movies I watched her in - zero expression on her face, never gets into the character she plays... always plays herself

    6. Thanks for answering. I actually like her, but I know a few others that feel as you do.

No on Paul writing cookery books. Anyway, not that I know of.

  13. Out of this group, I'll probably see Life After Beth.
John Stamos must have made a deal with the devil to stay perpetually young.
