TOM HIDDLESTON, EDDIE REDMAYNE, BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH FOR WWI 'JOURNEY'S END'? JUDI DENCH TO JOIN BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IN 'RICHARD III'? PETER FONDA IN 'GALYNTINE' SF SHOW

WWI 'JOURNEY'S END' TO HAVE
TOM HIDDLESTON, BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH, EDDIE REDMAYNE
Now, here are lovely casting combinations for you: according to rumours Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch could all star in historical movie JOURNEY'S END which would be set in the trenches of the World War One! Benedict Cumberbatch could play Captain Stanhope, a father figure to his men who is also bitterly aware of the idiocy of war. Tom Hiddleston could play the enthusiastic Lieutenant Osborne from the 1928 play by R.C. Sherriff, according to 'Radio Times'! All three of them have already given outstanding performances in war films: Eddie Redmayne was marvellous in BBC's BIRDSONG, Hiddleston was tremendous in Spielberg's WAR HORSE which also starred Benedict Cumberbatch who also played in war set PARADE'S END.

'GOOD SAM'  BY DETE MESERVE
TO BE TURNED INTO TV SERIES
A new book adaptation coming to the small screens! Wind Dancer (the company which produced HOME IMPROVEMENT) will turn GOOD SAM novel by Dete Meserve into TV series. The book, which actually comes out today, follows a female Los Angeles TV news reporter who  is searching for the Good Samaritan (Good Sam) who is anonymously leaving $100,000 cash on strangers’ front porches throughout the city!
PETER FONDA JOINS 'GALYN- TINE'
In other TV news, Peter Fonda has joined AMC's GALYNTINE TV show from Ridley Scott and THE WALKING DEAD's Greg Nicotero. Set in a futuristic post-apocalyptic world where technology has been rejected, leading survivors to form factions, the show will see Fonda playing a surly handyman who finds himself on the outs with the group of survivors who he once led.

JUDI DENCH IN 'RICHARD III'
 WITH BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH?
Speaking of Benedict  Cumberbatch, I've informed you before that BBC will finish their epic series of television projects based on William Shakespeare's works with historical mini series RICHARD III in which he will play the lead role (the above mentioned Tom Hiddleston played already in THE HOLLOW CROWN series as Henry V, while Eddie Redmayne played RICHARD II in a theatre play). Now there are rumours that Her Cinematic Highness Judi Dench might play Queen Margaret from the House of Lancaster, the wife of Richard's rival Henry VI! RICHARD III depicts the Machiavellian rise to power and subsequent short reign of Richard III of England! He is described as an evil and ugly hunchback in Shakespeare's play.

    3. I can't say I hate him, I just don't love love him... I don't get the buzz around him. He hasn't impressed me so far in any of his role. To me he is just a rich heir who had money to invest in his agents and managers

  3. Hiddleston, Cumberbatch and Redmayne in "Journey's End" would be DREAM casting! I hope it materializes. It's insane how much I love Tom Hiddleston, LOL. And Judi Dench in "Richard III" would rock too, although Queen Margaret's role is not huge.

    1. They still don't have the funding, but apparently there is a strong wish to do that movie.... with educated British actors.
Hiddles is the sweetest most positive thing that has ever happened to the world of film....
Judi as queen again! Who wouldn't like that!

  4. LOVED The Hollow Crown. Hiddleston was fabulous as Henry. And isn't Journey's End the trifecta of wonderful British actors? :)

  5. Good Sam sounds like a great book. I need to read that before the TV show comes out. I don't even like to see previews before I've read the book because it taints my view of the characters.
