STUNNING NEW CHARACTER POSTERS FOR 'MALEFICENT' WITH ANGELINA JOLIE, ELLE FANNING, IMELDA STAUNTON AND 'X MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST' CHARACTER ART WITH HUGH JACKMAN, MICHAEL FASSBENDER, JENNIFER LAWRENCE, IAN MCKELLEN, NICHOLAS HOULT

CHARACTER POSTERS ARE HERE!
We're having a day filled with gorgeous new movie posters today at HOLLYWOOD SPY, people, starting with lovely new character posters for Disney's upcoming fantasy movie MALEFICENT which will charm its way into theatres May 30th following the famous Sleeping Beauty's witch MALEFICENT who, driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king's newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

EVIL MALEFICENT
Played by Angelina Jolie, Maleficent is a vindictive fairy, who rises to become the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil".
 PRINCESS AURORA
Played by Elle Fanning, Princess Aurora is thoughtful and kind princess, who develops a bond with the native creatures of the forest kingdom unaware that she is the target for Maleficent's plans.
SHAPESHIFTING DIAVAL
Played by Sam Riley, Diaval is a shapeshifter who turns into a dragon, and Maleficent's confidant, who constantly shows that he's not afraid to speak his mind.
KING STEFAN
Played by Sharlto Copley King Stefan is Maleficent's former childhood friend and Aurora's father, who will stop at nothing to protect his child.
MAGICAL PIXIES
Played by Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville, Knotgrass, Flittle and Thistlewit are the pixies, who are charged with raising Aurora in secret until her sixteenth birthday.

Another slate of stunning images for today comes from upcoming highly anticipated mutant fantasy movie X MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST which arrives to theatres May 23rd directed by brilliant moviemaker Bryan Singer!   3. okay, my wife and i are going to see both of these films... even if i am kicking and screaming. i talked her out of the goof mess spiderman 2, so i have to go to these... i am okay with that. which is the lesser of two evils?

      I really don't know who watches SPIDERMAN... such a boring movie and such a horrible actor ... even Saturday Night Live flopped in ratings with him as the host

  4. Angelina is perfect for that role...I can't imagine anyone else bringing that much presence to such a big role! Did the witch in Snow White have a name before? I don't remember ever hearing one.

    1. yep, especially since Angelina is naturally ebil and fits the witch role perfectly. This is SLEEPING BEAUTY not SNOW WHITE, dear :) and yes, she was named like that before, in my own Serbian language we call her Grdana :)
