Earlier this weekend the first trailer for new comedy movie FREE GUY was released and its star Ryan Reynolds says it is his favourite film he ever made. The story is set in the brutal, open world video game Free City, in which he plays Guy, a non player character (NPC), working as a bank teller.

Thanks to a code developed by programmers Milly and Keys, inserted into Free City by the publisher Antoine, Guy suddenly becomes aware of his world being a video game, and takes steps to make himself the hero, creating a race against time to save the game before the developers can shut it down. The action comedy, directed by Night At The Museum's Shawn Levy, will open at

A whole slate of British actors has joined Colin Firth in new WW2 movie OPERATION MINCEMEAT which will now also have Matthew Macfadyen, Penelope Wilton, Johnny Flynn and Tom Wilkinson, alongside Kelly Macdonald, Hattie Morahan, Simon Russell Beale, Paul Ritter and Mark Gatiss! Set in 1943, the story of the film revolves around two brilliant intelligence officers, Ewen Montagu (Firth) and Charles Cholmondeley (Macfadyen) who conceived a plan that was dubbed Operation Mincemeat. They would trick the Nazis into thinking that Allied forces were planning to attack southern Europe by way of Greece rather than Sicily. Their plan was to get a corpse, equip it with misleading papers, then drop it off the coast of Spain where Nazi spies would take the bait.       He will play famous explorer Phileas Fogg! In the book, following an outrageous bet, Fogg and his valet, Passepartout (played by black rising French actor Ibrahim Koma in the clear case of blackwashing) take on the legendary journey of circumnavigating the globe in just 80 days, swiftly joined by aspiring journalist Abigail Fix (played by The Crown’s Leonie Benesch) who seizes the chance to report on this extraordinary story.

 The series will start shooting next February with airing time set for the end of 2020. The Durrells director Steve Barron is helming the project. The series will air on France Télévisions, Germany’s ZDF, British BBC and Italy’s RAI!
