TWO YEARS LATER SERIES
We are used to getting a couple of amazing series every year from Australia and Paramount + is now ready to give us TWO YEARS LATER, an eight episode series, a funny romantic drama set in a post-pandemic world, following thirty-somethings Emily (Phoebe Tonkin) and Ryan (Brenton Thwaites) whose brief, daily flirtations on their work commute aboard a bus are abruptly cut off by COVID-19.
Two years later, they reconnect unexpectedly, and Ryan impulsively proposes they go on eight dates to decide if
they’re meant to be
married.
Their love story evolves over eight dates comprising personal revelations, unexpected family drama, professional upheavals, and
their
contrasting worldview.
The cast of the series that starts June 4th also features Roy Billing and Heather Mitchell. See the trailer below.

Looks like a fun one! I hope the relationship works out :-))
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for them!
DeleteThis series looks great! It immediately brought back that strange feeling we all had when the world just stopped and we suddenly lost track of the people we used to see every day during our commute. Honestly, who hasn’t felt lately that life is moving way too fast and you just have to take the plunge? I always wonder how long it’ll take for the shows you feature to actually make it to Spain. To give you an idea of my current taste, I just finished the new (and I think final) season of The Chestnut Man: Hide and Seek. It’s a Danish series, and I really love Mikkel Boe Følsgaard’s work—he’s great in everything I’ve seen him in. Thanks for the heads-up on this one! A Hugh
ReplyDeleteYou can always torrent what is not aired in Spain :)
DeleteChestnut Man is on Netflix, methinks, I think I did not cover it because I usually don't do murder or crime series.
Due anni dopo” è una ferita che non sanguina più, ma continua a pulsare sotto la pelle.
ReplyDeleteBuona settmana
Buona settimana, Silvia
DeleteUma série ótima pra acompanhar, Dezmond feliz semana abraços.
ReplyDeleteFeliz semana to you as well, Lucimar
DeleteYou ever have that happen where you’re interested in a someone you see regularly then one day they’re just gone? I’ve had that happen a few times with people I should have pursued friendships with, but I was so shy in my younger years. I was just thinking about a lady that had her daughter in Allison’s gymnastics class when she was around 7 or 8. I felt like we clicked over the few conversations that we had in the waiting room, but when the new quarter started, they never came back. I was bummed I never asked for her contact details because I felt like we could have been great friends.
ReplyDeleteNot really, I don't do friends and they don't really do me LOL
DeleteI wish them all the best! I have seen some Paramount pictures in the past and really enjoyed them!
ReplyDeleteThis one is for Australia only, but it might air on your Paramount as well some time later.
