SEE 1ST IMAGES OF ELEANOR TOMLINSON, MATTHEW LEWIS, CALLUM WOODHOUSE IN CHANNEL 5 MYSTERY SERIES THE FORTUNE

1ST IMAGES FROM CHANNEL 5 MINI TV SERIES
Channel 5 has released first images from their new four part mystery series THE FORTUNE   (previously known as The Family Secret) that asks: what if your past isn’t what you think it is? Eleanor Tomlinson stars as Amanda Blakefield, whose life is a happy one with her husband, Jimmy(Matthew Lewis), and their son Luke. Amanda has her world shattered after she is left an enormous inheritance by a man she has neither met nor heard ofbefore. Her life starts to disintegrate as she becomes embroiled in the world of The Worrall Family. The patriarch Martin Worrall (Denis Lawson), is head of a family which is bound in past secrets. As Amanda’s story leads her further and further into the Northumbrian countryside, she begins to unravel the past. And all of their lives are turned upside down. Rebecca Front stars as Martin’s wife Fiona, with Callum Woodhouse as his son Anthony,Stephen Tompkinson as farm worker Boots Maddison, Paula Wilcox as Amanda’s mother Linda, Danielle Waltersas Amanda’s best friend Sandy, and Nina Wadia as solicitor Laura. We do not know the exact air date yet, but it will arrive to the small screens sometime this spring and meanwhile you can catch Eleanor in The Forsytes saga which has been renewed for the second and third season at PBS and Channel 5. Hope we get a trailer soon.

  1. Bet it's loaded with dramas. Channel 5 seems to have a few of series that I would enjoy.
    p.s It's still ralative cool here and RAINING...sitting here watching The Practice and I still need to cover myself with a blanket.

    1. It is interesting that after the downfall of BBC due to their overwokeness, Channel 5 has taken over the spot of Britain's best channel. ITV is also lost its mojo, so it is just Channel 5 and 4 now offering some comfort for the viewers.

      It is tropical here, almost 30C today, I will open all my windows and balconies in an hour to cool down the headquarters over night, it is the only way to survive the daily heat tomorrow, but they say we should have a rain too after two months of not seeing any later this week. Fingers crossed, most of our garden is dead already and the summer hasn't even started yet.
