OCTOBER 2020 FILMS AT NETFLIX: HOLIDATE WITH LUKE BRACEY, MANISH DAYAL AND EMMA ROBERTS, OVER THE MOON ANIMATED ADVENTURE

HOLIDATE TRAILER
ONE DATE FOR ALL HOLIDAYS
Holidate streams from October 28th
Two new movies arriving to Netflix next month! First up, something festive, launching the holiday season at the streamer on October 28th is HOLIDATE with Luke Bracey and Emma Roberts. (who seems like the worse casting choice ever in the trailer, thanks to her wooden acting and idiotic facial expressions) In the romantic comedy that also stars our dear Manish Dayal and Frances Fisher, Kristin Chenoweth, the two of them play Sloane and Jackson who hate being single on holidays where they face constant judgement from their meddling families. So, when these two strangers meet, they pledge to be each other's "holidate" for every festive occasion in the year ahead. The movie was directed by John Whitesell.

OVER THE MOON
BELIEVING IS EVERYTHING
Arriving to Netflix a week earlier, October 23rd is their new animated adventure OVER THE MOON which has John Cho in the voice cast. The
Over the Moon launches October 23rd at Netflix
story of this animated musical, directed by legendary animator Glen Keane, revolves around a girl who builds a rocket ship and blasts off, hoping to meet a mythical moon goddess. Check out the new trailer below:

  1. Over the Moon looks cute. Have to pass on Emma Roberts though. Her acting and her voice grate my last nerve.

    1. Yes, somebody over at YouTube said Emma has perfect comedic timing, and I was like, what da effing eff? She absolutely has no acting and especially no comedic talent, she is as wooden as an oak. And she also isn't even pretty to be suited for romcom roles. Has no elegance nor grace for such roles. The same as her aunty. On the other hand, Luke Bracey is interesting, but all Australian actors are.

  2. Not for me, I'm afraid! I haven't seen Emma Roberts in a while, though.

  3. Her facial expressions remind me of my daughter's 7 year old "snob looks" when she doesn't want to clean her room. LMAO Over the Moon looks adorable!

  4. I agree about Luke, but even he can't bring me to sit through an entire Emma Roberts film.

    1. That is why I ain't watching Enola Holmes, no matter how much I adore Claflin and Cavill, I cannot stand that little brat Millie at all. It seems that the kids are becoming more and more annoying.... :)
