If you've wondered where has Edward Burns gone missing in recent years, he is back with a new movie he wrote and directed and we have a trailer to
prove it. MILLER IN MARRIAGE has premiered at Palm Springs Film Festival and will get a limited release in February boasting a rather stellar cast which includes Edward Burns himself and another of our favourite hunks Patrick Wilson, plus Benjamin Bratt, Morena Baccarin, Julianna Margulies and Gretchen Mol beside Campbell Scott. The movie brings a tale of three middle-aged married couples coming to grips with universal questions about marriage and fidelity, professional success and failure, and the challenge of finding a second act. Love Julianna Margulies in ER series which again I couldn't finish because it's bloody lengthy. This one sounds good...hopefully it will be on Netflix some day.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it lasted like half of my youth or something, I only watched it while Anthony Edwards and Alex Kingston were in it as they were my fave characters, once they were out I left too.
DeleteThat sounds like an exciting movie! The themes of marriage, fidelity, and finding a second act are so relatable and timely. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

DeleteMinus Minnie Driver in this one, this looks so good. Marriage goes through many seasons and is so complicated and complex. If one can get through a long term marriage without any of these issues arising, I'd be shocked.
