After Hungary yesterday, I am taking you today to South America because HBO has released first teaser for their new COMO AGUA PARA CHOCOLATE
series which will arrive soon based on the famous novel by Laura Esquivel. Set in the time of the Revolution, the series shows that tradition is not always the best path. Our protagonists Tita de la Garza (Azul Guaita) and Pedro Muzquiz (Andres Baida) are two souls in love who cannot be together due to deep-rooted family traditions. Tita will be forced to navigate between the destiny dictated by her family and her fight for love through magical colors and flavors, as we accompany her in the place where she finds her greatest refuge: the kitchen. Not sure I would enjoy it, but I love that kitchen!
ReplyDeleteIt is supposed to be about cooking and magical powers of food, so we should like it, methinks. I do find the lead annoying in the teaser for some reason.
DeleteAnything centering around food I do tend to like. I agree with Angie, the kitchen is dreamy!
