NEW MAIGRET SERIES
SET AT PBS WITH BENJAMIN WAINWRIGHT
PBS Masterpiece has announced work on new version of MAIGRET based on the books by Georges Simenon with Belgravia's hunk Benjamin Wainwright in the lead role of Chief Inspector Jules Maigret, in the Paris set series that takes us from the glitzy upper-class world of luxury hotels and mansions to local bourgeois bistros and bars and the underground haunts of the professionally criminal. Maigret is an unconventional young detective with
something to prove the Police Judiciaire, relentless in his investigations, with a matchless knowledge of Paris and its inhabitants. Faithfully and lovingly married to Madame Maigret (Stefanie Martini), Maigret heads the elite police unit known as La Crim, responsible for investigating all serious crime in and around Paris. Blake Harrison, Reda Elazouar, Kerrie Hayes, Shaniqua Okwok and Rob Kazinsky make up the “Les Maigrets,” Maigret’s loyal team of detectives, with Nathalie Armin as Prosecutor Mathilde Kernavel.
Stefanie Martini, Benjamin Wainwright, Rob Kazinski will lead the series |
