NEW MULTICAMERA SITCOMS
TO EXPECT ON TELEVISION
CBS has given a series order to a new multicamera sitcom that would star
Damon Wayans and his son
Damon Wayans Jr coming from
Last Man Standing executive producer
Kevin Hench. The comedy revolves around legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Wayans), who has to

drag his grown son (Wayans Jr.), who has all his charm and none of his drive, kicking and screaming into adulthood before he turns 40. Earlier this month
NBC has ordered an untitled multicam sitcom with
Jon Cryer, Donald Faison and
Abigail Spencer which will follow Jim and Julia, who, after an

NIGHT COURT SITCOM REBOOT
I previously already told you that
NBC is also keeping

Melissa Rauch), the daughter of the late Harry Stone, who

of a Manhattan arraignment court and tries to bring order to its crew of
oddballs and cynics, most notably former night court prosecutor Dan
Fielding (
John Larroquette reprising his role from the original sitcom).
That makes me so happy that Damon Wayans Jr will be back for a sitcom. I loved him on New Girl and Happy Endings. He's got that goofy charisma that you just can't help but be drawn to.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall watching him in anything, I do have his Happy Together sitcom but haven't watched it yet. I am watching Bob Hearts Abashola (which is starting to bug me as she is getting more and more abusive towards him and I do not find it funny) and Call ma Kat second season (it is boring as hell, I will not be watching the third season for sure). I did love his uncle Marlon in everything. They seem like a nice family and talented too.
DeleteDon't know about any of them, but I like Melissa Rauch...so Night Court will be on my list to watch.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that one will be the best out of these above.
DeleteWe don't watch much broadcast TV anymore. It almost surprises me that it's still a thing. lol
ReplyDeleteIt is mostly terrible, but they are the only ones that have sitcoms.
