INDIRA VARMA JOINS DUNE: SISTERHOOD SF TV SERIES AS EMPRESS NATALYA! LANA HARPER'S PAYBACK'S A WITCH NOVEL TO BE TURNED INTO WITCHES OF THISTLE GROW TV SERIES!

    WITCHES OF THISTLE GROW
TO BECOME A TV SERIES
As Variety reports Village Roadshow has bought TV series rights on Lana Harper's Payback's a Witch and will develop it into WITCHES OF THISTLE GROW series which is also the name of the whole book series.
Sequel From Bad to Cursed came out this May
Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler will executive produce.
WITCHES OF THISTLE GROW will be a show about Emmy Harlow, a young woman with big dreams who abandoned her charming but podunk hometown to prove herself in the big city. When she’s suddenly called home nine years later to fulfill a family obligation, which, okay, happens to be arbitrating a centuries-old gauntlet, she’s forced to confront family rifts, broken friendships, and Gareth Blackmoore — a detestable but Hot AF ex who broke her heart and, it turns out, also screwed her friends: Her childhood bestie Linden Thorn, and the sexy, dangerous Talia Avramov, a bad-ass that Emmy always crushed on from afar. Reframing old friendships, reconciling with family, and enacting revenge are things Emmy used to hide from. But if she can face her fears, she can take her power back. And that’s critical. Because Emmy Harlow is a witch!

  1. Not my cup of tea...we are rewatching Better Call Saul again because it's a really good series.

    1. Saul is definitely not something I would ever personally watch. I do not understand crime and murder and infatuation with it.

  2. I’ve never heard of the book. I’ll reserve judgement on the series until you bring us a trailer. I don’t mind a good witch series. I think there hasn’t been anything witchy that has interested me since I think it was called Eastwick. You know the one with Channing Tatuma ex wife.

    1. I haven't watched that one. It is interesting that Lana the author is Serbian, her real surname is Popovich.

    2. I used to go to dance class with a girl who's last name is Popovich. Annoying as hell, she was. Hopefully, this author isn't.

    3. Beside Jovanovich, Petrovich and Djordjevich, it is our most common surname.
