 EMILY MOVIE TRAILER
FOR NEW BRONTE BIOPIC
The movie is out in UK and Ireland October 14th
A few days ago I told you that it will premiere at Toronto Film Festival and now we have the first trailer for EMILY Bronte biopic with Emma Mackey in the title role. Directed by Frances O'Connor, it explores her life before she wrote her famous classic Wuthering Heights.  Out in cinemas this October and November throughout Europe, and also starring Oliver Jackson Cohen and Gemma Jones, EMILY imagines the transformative, exhilarating, and uplifting journey to womanhood of a rebel and a misfit, one of the world's most famous, enigmatic, and provocative writers who died too soon at the age of 30. Check out the trailer below:

CANNES WINNER COMEDY
Speaking of festival movies, you can also check out a rather bizarre trailer for this year Cannes winner TRIANGLE OF SADNESS starring Harris Dickinson and
The movie is out in cinemas October 7th
Woody Harrelson! Models Carl and Yaya are navigating the world of fashion while exploring the boundaries of their relationship. The couple are invited for a luxury cruise with a rogues' gallery of super-rich passengers, a Russian oligarch, British arms dealers and an idiosyncratic, alcoholic, Marx-quoting captain. At first, all appears Instagrammable. But a storm is brewing, and heavy seasickness hits the passengers during the seven-course captain's dinner. The cruise ends catastrophically. Carl and Yaya find themselves marooned on a desert island with a group of billionaires and one of the ship's cleaners. Hierarchy is suddenly flipped upside down, as the housekeeper is the the only one who knows how to fish.

  1. I still haven't read Wuthering Heights...

    1. It is actually quite nice, very psychological.

  2. I still want to watch Emily, but the trailer wasn't very captivating. Many of the scenes were in the dark and it seems like a feminist version of the story. From what I read in my research the other day, Emily was a weak and sickly person, not the strong minded, carefree spirit shown in the trailer. I also got the impression that Emily was more of a conspiracy theorist than a feminist.

    1. But being weak and sickly isn't feminist enough so they have to come up with some embellishments lol According to modern feminazzis every woman was a feminist throughout history LOL

  3. That trailer was quite bizarre, but at the same time quirky enough to pique my interest. It’s fun to watch the little jabs over the haughty demands of the Uber rich.

    1. I wonder what will happen at the island. Harris Dickinson is a reason enough for me to watch pretty much anything, especially if he is nekkid.
