  1. As I am closing to the end of my life, I'm starting to believe in reencarnation so Life After Life sounds good. I wonder if JUlia will include the days Julia Child trained with the OSS. Noooo, I thought we had seen the last of The Nevers

    1. Me and my sister Theresa believe we were Hitler and Goebels in the previous lives and thus we suffer so greatly in this one LOL
I'm very much looking forward to Julia, I think it will be a refreshment in the midst of police, medical and procedural shows. What is OSS?

    2. Nope, Der Fuhrer was a humorless man and you are full of wit and caustic humor. Is Theresa a media guru? Bcause that is what Goebbels would be today. OSS was "the mother"of the CIA, but during WWII was the training center for American spies.

    3. No, she is Hitler, I am her Goebbels LOL We think we must have been something very evil in previous lives to suffer so in this one LOL
Oooh, Julia was an informer? How lovely, I've always wanted to be a spy, I just don't know for who I'd work as I hate all sides.

    4. I'm sorry that Theresa and you had such rotten luck that you think you are punished for having been monsters in past lives. Julia was not an informer. OSs was in charge of training agents to go behind German lines and aid partisans and resistance movements. I don't know if she ever got to be sent on a mission, but she was trained to be a spy.

    5. You wouldn't believe what the two of us survived, enough for a very long horror film LOL But such is a story of all people who never had childhoods or a normal family (she does now that she is married, I still don't).
My fave episode with Julia is when they asked her what is the best way to prepare cilantro, and she said, you take it, you wash it, you throw it onto the floor and step on it hard LOL

  2. I'm more intrigued with Malena's comment then anything else. Do you believe in reincarnation or an after life???

    1. Well, if there is hell I am sure destiny will find a way to send me there, given how unfortunate I always am.

    2. Have I ever told you about my childhood home? We had spirits in our house, but our most frequent visitor was a little Native American boy. I've seen, felt, and heard him. So has all three other members of my family. Because of that, I've always believed in an afterlife.. although the older I get the more I question what I once was so sure of.

    3. Well, we do use only about a 10 percent of our brains, so maybe with the rest we are able to catch the signature of their memories or something? You have those Hindu yogis who live for decades without food and water just meditating. We are probably capable of unimaginable things, probably even self healing, telepathy and who knows what else.

    4. Jax, because I'm what is now classified as a "religious person"(i rather think of myself as a woman of faith) I've always believed in an afterlife. I have seen ghosts and I'm a believer in the supernatural. Although in my religion there is a tiny belief in reincarnation, I never given it too much thought. But a former boyfriend, who is now into Hinduoism has given me enough grounds to believe in both. Afterlife will come to all of us after a period of reincarnations where we are supposed to shed our dark traits until we are fit for Nirvana or its equivalent.

    5. Well, that is very optimistic indeed.

    6. That’s a lovely thought. Fingers crossed we don’t find out any time soon. :)

  3. 2022 HBO covers really fantastic movies. I loved historical costumes. Looks great in the trailer. Bye the way i dont believe reincarnation but "life after life" looks very interesting.

    1. It does, hope it will be an interesting series, it is based on a popular book.

  4. I'd be interested in Life After Life. I do believe you and I are being punished for some royal f'ups we did in a past life. Let's hope this life we've learned from them (I feel like I'm a good person in this life) that if there is reincarnation, or an eternal Nirvana, we're finally rewarded with light and love for a change.

    1. Yes, we are good now, maybe sometimes slightly evil to those who deserve it. But we can repent LOL.
