Racing in the rain starts August 9th! |
Told from the point of view of a witty and philosophical dog named
Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner), this heart warming movie follows Enzo’s
best friend and owner Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia), an aspiring
Formula One race car driver, through Denny’s journey of life, love, and
loss — again, all through the eyes of his dog. Amanda Seyfried plays his
wife. The Simon Curtis directed flick also features Gary Cole, Kathy
Baker, and Martin Donovan in the cast.
Did you say a philosophical dog? Well, why not. I bet it's better than Captain Plankface.

DeleteAwe! How lovely does this one look? I always get sucked into any movie with a dog in it ♥
ReplyDeleteThere are so many doggie films this year! Do you ever play dog movies to your dogs?
Delete"the movie will bark its way into the cinemas.." - I like that expression.
DeleteI also like the idea of rain as the background to love relations - in this case love between a dog and its owner.
I do tend to do such sentences when the film allows it :)
DeleteThe dogs don't really care much when we play dog movies. Once in a blue moon they will stop to watch if they catch a dog on tv. My girl boxer did watch about 1/4 of Frankenweenie last Halloween.
DeleteMust have been a lovely sight! My cat is currently horny and is attracting all kinds of freakish tomcats to our yard. And I thought we was safe given that she had kittehs two weeks ago.
DeleteGood Lord, you're gonna be a papa all over again soon, it seems!
DeleteI will strangle her first! Her sister from Germany (at least I pretend it is so because she is all posh and fluffy) Hilbert from the neighbourhood is also prego and comes for dindins as well almost every day!
DeleteI may have a stone in place of my heart Dez!
ReplyDeleteI know you've lost a couple of dogs, Fran, recently :( I lost my tomcat Ignatius about three months ago.
DeleteThey break your heart when they're alive and dead my friend!
ReplyDeleteToo true!
