  1. The hitman in The Virtuoso was given no name or photo. It reminds me a bit of my genealogical quest to trace family members who have emigrated from Romania to USA in the first quarter of the 20th century.

I had only a name and a city name from some very old letter. It was nothing to start with. And yet I did it; it took 2-3 years on and off.
I was very proud of my achievement. I suppose I was a virtuoso in a way.
I was disappointed, however, in the descendants I had discovered - conceited and cold. Not my cup of tea at all.

    1. That was quite an achievement! I bet those long lost relatives thought you were after some old heritage :) That is how our relatives from Bulgaria were :) I personally never had any interest in any of my relatives.

    2. Yes, it was. I managed to get into archives through the internet.
So, things are not impossible even without initial clues.

  2. I feel like the waitress will end up being the target. Feels like one of those stories that have been played out over and over again.

    1. Or it might be Anthony Hopkins that is the target? He wants himself dead?

  3. Abbie Cornish... Now, why does that name ring a ball. A bell.

    1. I know. I can't help myself. It's one of my many character flaws. But I don't bite.
