After the first teaser a few weeks ago, Netflix has released official trailer with Eric Bana and Sam Neill as leads in their new mini series UNTAMED which arrives July 17th. Eric Bana
plays Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who
works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The
investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course
with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.
Neill will play Paul Souter who has been the chief park ranger in
Yosemite for half his life. He’s a dedicated husband, father,
grandfather, and friend to Turner. He’s comfortable in all facets of his
job, whether it’s dealing with crime inside the park or with the
bureaucracy around it. Rosemarie DeWitt will play Turner's ex wife, with Wilson Bethel as Shane Maguire, a former army ranger,
who now uses his skills as the park’s Wildlife Management Officer.
Maguire’s a loner, preferring to live by himself in the wilderness where
it’s easier to follow his own rules.

alternative London that’s facing an epidemic of spooks and ghouls. Only a

follows Roseanne McNulty (Vanessa Redgrave) who must vacate the mental institution in Roscommon, Ireland that she's called home for over 50 years. The
STARRING AIDAN TURNER, THEO JAMES, JACK REYNOR, ERIC BANA
Two new drama banner posters for you today, starting with the one for THE SECRET SCRIPTURE which hits theatres this May with a stellar cast lead by Rooney Mara who plays a woman that keeps a diary of her extended stay at a mental hospital. Aidan Turner, Theo James and Jack Reynor play her lovers, Eric Bana is her doctor, with Vanessa Redgrave playing her older version.
'THE SENSE OF AN ENDING'
WITH BRILLIANT JIM BROADBENT
The other banner poster released is for another drama movie THE SENSE OF AN ENDING which should, based on a novel by Julian Barnes, come into cinemas next month starring Jim Broadbent as a man who becomes haunted by his past and is presented with a mysterious legacy that causes him to re-think his current situation in life.Charlotte Rampling, Matthew Goode, Michelle Dockery and Emily Mortimer also star.
We're all historical today, and I'm sure you will deeply enjoy these two amazing posters featuring Jude Law as the naughty King Vortingern in KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD, after all he is the reason we will watch Guy Ritchie's rather blasphemous and irreverent take on the famous legend which opens up in cinemas this May.
TEMP- TATION BLACKENS THE HEART In this version the young Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) runs the back
passages of Londonium with his crew, not knowing his royal lineage until
he grabs Excalibur. Instantly confronted by the sword's influence,
Arthur is forced to make up his mind. He joins the rebellion and a
shadowy young woman named Guinevere (Astrid Berges Frisbey), he must
learn to understand the magic weapon, deal with his demons and unite the
people to defeat the dictator Vortigern, the man who murdered his
parents and stole his crown to become king. Eric Bana is King Uther
Pendragon, with Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Katie McGrath, Millie
Brady, Eline Powell, David Beckham and Annabelle Wallis also in the
cast.
'EARLY MAN' TRAILER
EDDIE REDMAYNE AND TOM HIDDLESTON GO PREHISTORIC
It won't come out till January next year, but Aardman has released the first trailer for their animation movie EARLY MAN. Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Coming from four time Oscar winner Nick Park it also features the voice of Timothy Spall as the tribe's long-suffering leader, and father figure to his tribe of idiotic brutes which includes a gentle giant scared of his own shadow and an inept caveman whose best friend is a rock.
Now I must say I don't care for revisionism of classic stories and ancient myths, some things should never be messed with, and that counts for this one as well, but it is still an epic extrava- ganza and the spy must spotlight it as expected. Today you can enjoy new photos and a poster for KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD, which should, starring Jude Law and Charlie Hunnam, storm into cinemas this May around the world!
FROM NOTHING COMES A KING The story will focus on his rise to becoming King whilst reworking
the original tale into a sweeping fantasy action adventure. We're first
introduced to a streetwise young Arthur who, raised as a kid by three
prostitutes in the 5th century, runs the back alleys of Londonium with
his gang, unaware of the life he was born for until he grasps hold of
the sword Excalibur - and with it, his future. Instantly challenged by
the power of Excalibur, Arthur is forced to make some hard choices.
Throwing in with the Resistance and a mysterious young woman named
Guinevere (Astrid Berges Frisbey), he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern (Jude Law), who stole his crown and murdered his father (Eric Bana), and become King.
JUDE LAW AND ERIC BANA
Directed by Guy Ritchie, this $100 million medieval epic will have fantastic elements too including massive
snakes, war elephants and a Viking-like monster known as The Nemesis! Jude Law will appear in the movie as the main
villain dictator Vortigern, the man who murdered Arthur's parents and
stole his crown to become king. The movie, envisioned as the first part
of the potential six movies franchise (which is highly unlikely given how many times the movie has been pushed and the lukewarm interest for it), will see Astrid Berges Frisbey
playing a shadowy young woman named Guinevere. Eric Bana, who already played another English king Henry VIII, is Arthur's
father King Uther Pendragon, Djimon Hounsou is Bedivere, who is Arthur's mentor in battles, Annabelle Wallis has gone from playing one of Henry's queens in Tudors to playing maid Maggie in this one, while Merlin's Katie McGrath is now maid Elsa after playing Lady Morgana in the BBC series. Millie Brady is Princess Katia, with Aidan Gillen also in the cast. David Beckham will have a small role in it too! Annie Symons, who worked on Da Vinci's Demons and Dracula epic TV series, made stunning costumes in this one as well!
Tons of period set movie trailers for you today starting with the first one for A KIND OF MURDER starring our most beloved Patrick Wilson alongside Jessica Biel and Vincent Kartheiser. Based on a Patricia Highsmith novel it is out this December.
In 1960s New York, Walter Stackhouse is a successful architect
married to the beautiful Clara who leads a seemingly perfect life. But
his fascination with an unsolved murder leads him into a spiral of chaos
as he is forced to play cat-and-mouse with a clever killer and an
overambitious detective, while at the same time lusting after another
woman.
'THE ZOOKEEPER'S WIFE'
WORLD WAR 2 SET TRAILER
Yet another trailer for a big screen book adaptation comes for World War 2 drama THE ZOOKEEPER' WIFE based on a book by Diane Ackerman and starring Daniel Bruhl, Jessica Chastain (although I thought it was Eddie Redmayne from Danish Girl lol)! It tells the account of keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Jan and Antonina Zabinski, who helped save hundreds of people and animals during the Nazi invasion. It is out next May in UK. I shall put the longer trailer for the movie here tomorrow as soon as it is released instead of the today's short movie teaser!
'SECRET SCRIPTURE' TRAILER
STARRING THEO JAMES, ERIC BANA, AIDAN TURNER
The most stellar cast appears in the first trailer for the adaptation of Sebastian Barry's novel THE SECRET SCRIPTURE which stars Aidan Turner, Eric Bana, Jack Reynor, Theo James and Rooney Mara in a story about a 100 year old woman, (Vanessa Redgrave) who has lived in a Mental Hospital for almost half of her life and decides to write an autobiography which reveals the history of her passionate yet tortured life, and of the religious and political upheavals in Ireland during the 1920s and ’30s! Bana is her psychiatrist, Reynor a pilot she fell in love with, Theo a priest who fell in love with her!
Oh, my, do I have some mindblowing fresh trailers from the Comic Con for you today! And they're almost all stunning and amazing. DC is, of course, dominating especially with the marvellous first trailer for WONDER WOMAN movie in which Gal Gadot is wielding her lasso of truth while trying to save Chris Pine from the battles of War World One. As you can see from the amazing trailer the fight scenes are really well done and Gal seems to have the necessary charisma. The trailer also shows stunning sets from the land of the Amazonians ruled by their queen played by ConnieNielsen. The movie is out next June!
1ST 'JUSTICE LEAGUE' TRAILER
ASSEMBLES DC'S HEROES Wonder Woman also appears in the first trailer which gathers all of
DC's leading super heroes in one place - JUSTICE LEAGUE which is still
shooting! I can't say I liked the trailer, too much horrid Ben Affleck for my
taste, but it also shows Ezra Miller as The Flash and Jason Momoa as
Aquaman! Amy Adams, Henry Cavill and Jeremy Irons also star. The movie
is out November next year.
JUDE LAW RULES FIRST
'KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD' TRAILER
An equal mix of like and dislike for me in the first trailer for Guy Richie's retelling of the Camelot legends in KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD. I did like the look of it, it looks rather stunning, Jude Law seems magnetic as the main villain Vortigern who steals the crown from Arthur. But I just can't get into Charlie Hunnam playing the character as if it is some modern day street thug with nothing medieval in it. Out next March it will also see EricBana playing Uther Pendragon, Arthur's father murdered by Vortigern, Astrid Bergès Frisbey as Guinevere and Djimon Hounsou as Sir Bedivere.
'STAR TREK: DISCOVERY'
LAUNCHES FIRST TEASER And something from the small screens: CBS has revealed the first
purely teasing teaser for new STAR TREK TV series which will be titled
STAR TREK: DISCOVERY showing the launch of the new Star Fleet Ship
Discovery. The cast is yet to be announced for the sf series that starts
next January! It will have one season story, it won't be episodic and
will probably be set before or around the original series.
Now, here's a delight for you: EW has revealed in their latest issue the first look of Jude Law as the villain in KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD which is out next spring, telling a new story of Arthur. Jude Law plays his tyrannical uncle Vortigern who, as the murderer of his brother and Arthur’s dad Uther Pendragon (Eric Bana) and the usurper of the throne, has done more than enough to earn his nephew’s wrath, but backing him is a set of deadly magical powers that give him the upper hand. As you know, from our massive spotlight, Charlie Hunnam plays the lead role.
'RULES DON'T APPLY' TRAILER
WITH LILY COLLINS, WARREN BEATTY AND ALDEN EHRENREICH
Your trailer for today comes from Warren Beatty star studded film RULES DON'T APPLY set in Hollywood, 1958. Small-town beauty queen and devout Baptist virgin Marla Mabrey (LilyCollins), under contract to the infamous Howard Hughes (Warren Beatty), arrives in Los Angeles. At the airport, she meets her driver Frank Forbes (Alden Ehrenreich), who is engaged to be married and is a deeply religious Methodist. Their instant attraction not only puts their religious convictions to the test but also defies Hughes’ No. 1 rule: No employee is allowed to have any relationship whatsoever with a contract actress. Hughes’ behaviour intersects with Marla and Frank in very separate and unexpected ways, and as they are drawn deeper into his bizarre world, their values are challenged and their lives are changed. Matthew Broderick, Annette Bening, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, Candice Bergen, Ed Harris, Steve Coogan and Oliver Platt also star.
