THE FOUR PART SERIES STORY
Outside
a supermarket with her young son, Cathy (Annabel Scholey) encounters
Michael (Colin Morgan) - the man convicted of the brutal murder of her
brother, 20 years earlier. Ignoring the advice of her best friend, Cathy
takes to social media, uncovering the successful career and family life
Michael has forged for himself since his early release from prison,
while she grieved for her brother.
Re-traumatised by her past, Cathy instigates a clandestine relationship
with the man she despises, embarking on a campaign of harassment and
deceit. As Cathy’s obsession grows, dark fantasies of revenge and
reality blur as she sets out on a campaign of psychological warfare to
destroy Michael’s life.
I enjoy thrillers! Definitely going to watch this one..hopefully there's one in German out soon.
ReplyDeleteSome of the German channels might buy this one for you.
DeleteI've liked Colin Morgan since Merlin - okay it wasn't the most intellectual drama series ever but I enjoyed it for what it was. This may be an interesting series.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that after Merlin he is mostly doing these small, forgettable psychological thrillers. Wish he would accept something bigger or change agents.
DeleteI like a good thriller. This sounds like it would have enough drama to keep me entertained.
ReplyDeleteIt is very psychological
DeleteThat has to be hard to watch someone who killed your loved one walk free. I'd probably want revenge too. Most I'd probably do is picket in front of their home and employment office though, but I'd have serious thoughts about shining my inner Tonya Harding and taking a bat to their knees.
ReplyDeleteWho is Tonya Harding, the name sounds familiar.
DeleteShe's the one ice skater that took a club or bat or something to Nancy Kerrigan's knees after Nancy won the Olympics in the 90's. Some of Nancy's videos have surfaced recently and she did seem like a petulant, spoiled little rich brat, so idk if I even feel sorry for her anymore.
DeleteBut still to break an athletes legs, that is beyond sick. Hope Harding is serving life sentence.
