Apple TV + has released first trailer and a September 20th streaming start date for their new French original series LA MAISON set in the fashion
La Maison arrives this September
world. High fashion meets high stakes in this realistic behind-the-scenes look at how an iconic fashion house is thrown into scandal and reinvention by a viral video featuring star designer Vincent Ledu (Lambert Wilson), leaving his family’s iconic and legendary haute couture house, LEDU, hanging by a thread. The ten part series will open with two episodes.

VINCENT'S FORMER MUSE
Perle Foster (Amira Casar), who is still in his shadow, teams up with visionary next-generation designer Paloma Castel (Zita Hanrot) to save, evolve and renew the century-old Maison LEDU. Taking advantage of Vincent’s demise, Diane Rovel (Carole Bouquet), the ruthless CEO of the powerful Rovel luxury group, launches an offensive to acquire what she sees as her most important prize: Maison LEDU. To achieve her goal, anything is fair game, as this is more than acquiring just another brand — it’s about revenge. Pierre Deladonchamps, Antoine Reinartz, Anne Consigny, Florence Loiret Caille and Ji-Min Park also star.

  1. Another French one that I can easily live without. Hope the weather is treating you guys there better at this time...here we are having the last days of summer. Mornings are much cooler but the sun shines in the afternoon. Have a most wonderful day, Dezzy!

    1. Sad to hear you won't watch it, I think it looks fun and exciting, we need a fashion show this Autumn and this one is filled with scandal and intrigue.

Lucky you, it is still 40C during the day here and over 20C at night and they say it will continue into September, so we will have six months of summer this year.

  2. I'm glad polyester doesn't give me migraines because that's about all I can afford these days LMAO! It does look like a dysfunctionally intriguing family. Toss in the fashion and you have a recipe for success.

    1. Dysfunctional is fun to watch, but I do hate the style of that new designer, plus a very fugly girl.
