Out next week, August 9th in Northern America is First World War movie THE LAST FRONT an English language production directed and written in Belgium
by Julien Hayet-Kerknawi. The cast is led by Iain Glen and also includes Sasha Luss, Leander Vyvey, Joe Anderson, and Bulgarian star Julian Kostov. Amidst World War I's chaos, a grieving father turns hero, leading villagers to safety while evading a relentless enemy driven by vengeance. Peaceful life in a Belgian village is disrupted when a ruthless German soldier and his troops begin to terrorize the residents. An initially peace-loving local farmer, Leonard (Iain Glen), is driven to lead the resistance after a personal tragedy forces him into a battle he never wanted. What does No17. there mean? We watched a couple of Belgian series before, and they ain't too bad.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, I think it is a soldier's cap, so it could be the number of regiment or something.
DeleteAdding to my list. I often think about if they had the technology that we have today, how many people would not have survived. With the use of things like drones and infrared detectors, there would be no more hiding or escape like they were able to then.
ReplyDeleteI imagine you can still hide during the day with infrareds. I wonder if in some far future wars will be just cyberwars not real ones.
