NOLLY MINI TV SERIES TELLS THE STORY OF
Noele (Helena Bonham Carter) who was a legend in
her own lifetime. As flame-haired widow Meg Richardson in the
long-running soap opera Crossroads, she was one of the most famous
people in Britain. Then in 1981, at the height of the show’s success and
the peak of Nolly’s fame, she was axed without ceremony, without
warning and with no explanation. With the boss’s words “all good things
must come to an end” ringing in her ears, Noele Gordon found herself
thrown out of the show that was her life for over 18 years. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think, will you be tuning in next month?
Helena Bonham Carter is a great actress.
ReplyDeleteI used to think that as well before, but now I think she is always rather the same, she is defo not as expressive as British acting schools standards teach you.
DeleteI like Carter. She definitely doesn't have the range some of her peers have, but she's still good in her own right. I think we're just so used to seeing her in her husband's movies, it gets repetitive.
ReplyDeleteI don't like her privately either, she and Emma Thompson piss me off constantly.
DeleteI don't know anything about her private life other than who her husband is. I never cared enough about her to look into it. I suppose you probably hear more about her than we do in the States.
DeleteShe supported Depp for example.
DeleteShe always kinda seems drunk. she and Burton live in separate houses. I wonder if she has kids.
