Nolly starts March 17th on PBS

While this is already available for streaming as of this month over at ITVX for viewers in United Kingdom, it will hit Northern American audience March 17th when the three episode mini series NOLLY will start airing on PBS. If I got it right it will also stream on Foxtel in Australia and it had its linear UK premiere on ITV during New Year holidays. Created by Russell T. Davies, this series is exploring the reign, and fall from grace, of the inimitable British soap star, Noele Gordon played by Helena Bonham Carter. The cast also includes Max Brown, Mark Gattis, and Augustus Prew.

 NOLLY MINI TV SERIES TELLS THE STORY OF 

Noele (Helena Bonham Carter) who was a legend in her own lifetime. As flame-haired widow Meg Richardson in the long-running soap opera Crossroads, she was one of the most famous people in Britain. Then in 1981, at the height of the show’s success and the peak of Nolly’s fame, she was axed without ceremony, without warning and with no explanation. With the boss’s words “all good things must come to an end” ringing in her ears, Noele Gordon found herself thrown out of the show that was her life for over 18 years.
