DEATH BY LIGHTNING NETFLIX SERIES
Netflix has announced that Vikings: Valhalla (with final season), Hundred Years of Solitude (with first season) and The Empress (with second season) will be arriving later this year, but that is not all from the historical front as they have also announced Michael Shannon as assassinated
President Garfield and Matthew Macfadyen as his killer Charles Guiteau in a new series DEATH BY LIGHTNING. Garfield was President in 1881 and was assassinated later that year, having previously served nine terms as a Congressman. He was elected as a Senator but declined this when he became President, despite having not sought the office.
He was shot by Guiteau, who felt he had played a major role in Garfield’s election.

The Archangels are desperate to shake off the GOT stigma, but they have chosen a strange subject. Good actors though.
ReplyDeleteBut isn't it a strange casting, I would expect Matthew to play the president and the other guy to be the killer with that face.
DeleteI like Michael Shannon. He seems nerdy enough to play a presidential role well. Will have to add this one to my Netflix queue.
