| The Regime starts its rule March 3rd on Max |
It will start its rule March 3rd, but after the teaser earlier in December Max has now given us the first full trailer for their new mini series THE REGIME which tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of a modern European regime as it begins to unravel. With the power being in the hands of Kate Winslet as madam chancellor, Matthias Schoenaerts plays her trusted and devoted and obviously psychotic chief of security, with Guillaume 
Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton and Hugh Grant also in the cast! The six episode series was directed by legendary movie director and
film maker from United Kingdom Stephen Frears. As the slogan of the series says - her love knows no mercy! Check out the trailer below:

ReplyDeleteWhy just? It is one of worlds biggest streamers, you can also catch it on Sky which you have in Deutschland. But a month later methinks.
DeleteI'd like to see this, but it's on a streamer we don't have and probably won't sign up for. I do like most of what Kate has been in, so I'm sure this would be no different.

DeleteNot unless you pay for it like all of the other streamers. I think it's like $15 a month. Better than the $24 I pay for Netflix, but when we were using a friend's account there just wasn't much to justify the added bill each month for the service.
DeleteI know you have to pay it but I thought it was American favourite streamer and that you have it too.
DeleteAs of right now, we only pay for Netflix and Disney. We'll pay for Verizon when Jason gets back since it's so cheap. We will also subscribe back to Paramount when we are both able to sit down and finish Yellowstone together, then we'll cancel it again afterwards but that will be some time from now. Maybe this summer. We have free streaming too, like Tubi or Roku, but we can't afford to pay all of the streamers at once.
DeleteI think Paramount will connect with Apple very soon, so no need to get it separately before then.
DeleteYou said you heard that, so hopefully they will before this summer. It's probably when we'll finally have the time to catch up on Yellowstone then.
DeleteThey will bundle it together with a discount rate, that is what we heard in December.
DeletePS is not Yellowstone currently airing on your linear TV, on CBS or Fox? I know it is.
DeleteWe don't have those channels in the tv package that we subscribe to. Even so, we wouldn't be able to get them in order to binge, we'd have to wait until they aired and our schedules never align with regular television channels. That's why we nixed the cable and only do streaming services anymore.
DeleteBut aren't CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC linear networks? Meaning they have national air frequencies and everybody can get them with a TV areal on your roof? We get our five national channels both through areals and through cabel as they are considered the basic channels.
DeleteIf we had an antenna we would get those for free, but we don't feel like buying one. We'd still be tied to when they aired them at their convenience, not ours so it's just not something we're interested in dealing with.
DeleteYes, I understand the part about following their schedule. I'd probably only committ to sitting down in front of CBS on Monday nights for two hours of sitcoms.
