AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER
The treat of the day is the first long awaited trailer for James Cameron's AVATAR: THE WAY OF THE WATER which arrives December 16th! It shows us Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) fourteen years after the first film's events, when the human explorer decided to remain forever trapped in the body of a blue alien. Jake and Neytiri are living happily after ever, and are now the proud parents of a young blue boy. However, peace in Pandora won’t last, as the humans are back to torment the planet, leading to a new confrontation between the invader species and the native people of Pandora. Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, AVATAR THE WAY OF WATER begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure. Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh also star in the long awaited new sequel to one of the most popular blockbuster films of all times. See the gorgeous teaser below and tell us what you think:
Why do I feel like the African safari turns deadly not because of the animals but because of wicked people?
ReplyDeleteWe shall have to wait and see.
DeleteI am usually not a fan of science fiction, but THE FORTRESS seems quite interesting that I might even enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWe do like apocalypse in closed spaces :)
DeleteI loved Avatar's visuals. But I thought it was a little too preachy. Like it was trying to tell us tell us something. It mirrored too closely what happened to the Native Americans is how they had their land taken away and people were killed. They even reminded me of Native Americans in a way and then there was their sacred tree. Now we were doing the same thing to these aliens. I don't want to be preached at when I watch a movie and that's the feeling I got while watching this. Don't know if I'll watch this one or not.
ReplyDeleteIt was very boring, I recon this one will be too, but visually gorgeous and I have a feeling that little non Navi kid will irritate the hell out of me, he was already unbearable in the trailer itself LOL
DeleteHow funny! We just came back from Animal Kingdom and the kids had no clue what Avatar was. I just showed my daughter, but she doesn't like. Guess she's too young! Not that I'm complaining, I wasn't super impressed with the original movie either.
ReplyDeleteI think she will like the visuals, the story not so much.
