  1. Fires sounds like something that should be watched, but I know I'd cry a lot. The torturous conditions for the people in the trailer are evident, but I bet there's a scene with a dying kangaroo or koala and that's what will make me ball my eyes out!

    1. At one point, about ten years ago, he was the next big thing with lead roles in Clash of the Titans and Avatar, but then went off the radar, kinda like Sulllivan Stapleton in that other series. Ozzies and Brits sadly do not have a large support in Hollywood and are not suited to that mentality so they usually do not score massive success even though they have more talent and charisma than any American star.

  3. Fires has to be really hard for the people of Australia to watch. I feel like it hasn't been that long since the world was shocked and saddened by those horrible fires. I still remember seeing the hurt animals and all of that destruction and it still hurts my heart.

    1. Vary hard indeed. It happened in 2019 methinks. It also happens constantly here in Greece, our tourists often end up stranded at beaches surrounded by fires, our biggest pop star actually had a live coverage last summer while stranded on such a beach with her daughters. And yet it happens every year like they don't have any mechanisms to alert people on time. We even had cases in which Greek ships wouldn't pick Serbian guests from such stranded beaches surrounded by fires, they would pick with boats just their citizens. Utter craziness.

    2. It's like that out on the west coast here too. Constant fires. I wasn't thrilled when Mariah told me she wanted to move to Oregon, not only because of the political climate, but because of those fires that are always raging that way. Thankfully, she just got back from an interview in Colorado last week and will be transferring there next July.

That's some BS that Greece would leave anyone stranded, citizens or not. Imagine the riots around the world if the US pulled some crap like that. Greece should not get off so easy when they do that!

    3. I do love Colorado the home of the Baxters :)
Greece generally hates our tourists because we're a bit primitive and not very rich, they would probably prefer some richer West European guests, but without us their tourism would suffer greatly.

  4. Hunt down all your kids and kill them before they can kill you. Sounds like a good premise for a movie.
