Since most of you are celebrating Thanksgiving holidays this weekend, here is something festive you can watch with your family this Sunday: November 28th CW will premiere their TV movie THE WALTONS'
The Waltons' Homecoming will air on CW this Sunday
HOMECOMING exactly fifty years after the launch of the classic original. Richard Thomas who played the lead role in the original movie now narrates the story.
THE WALTONS' HOMECOMING
is set in the 1933 Depression Era, told through
the eyes of 17 year old John Boy (played by Logan Shroyer), the eldest
child of John (Ben Lawson) and
Logan Shroyer takes the lead role in the new movie
Olivia (Bellamy Young). Olivia expects
him to help raise his siblings, while John wants him to follow in his
footsteps to support the family. John Boy,
The film arrives fifty years after the original classic movie
however, wants to be a
writer. As hard as times are in 1933, they may not even get to celebrate
Christmas as a family, with John Sr.’s presence uncertain: His
Ben Lawson plays the head of the family Walton
plans to
make it home are threatened by a snow storm. Olivia sends John Boy out
into the night to find his missing father (what a lovely, selfless mommy isn't she?), taking him on a journey that
will change his life forever.

Premiering on Comedy Central December 4th is festive comedy movie A CLUSTERFUNKE CHRISTMAS which has two of our favourite hunks in the cast: Ryan McPartlin and Cheyenne Jackson! Meanwhile, Vella Lovell is real estate executive Holly who heads to a small town to buy the quaint Clüsterfünke Inn to make it a mega resort! While meeting the owners, Holly finds herself distracted by their handsome nephew Frank (Cheyenne Jackson) and she thinks whether she should complete the assignment and go back to her city life, or fall in love with him and find the spirit of Christmas. Rachel Dratch, who wrote ths cript, also stars in the movie.
I'll have to remind my mom about The Waltons. We used to watch that one all the time when I was growing up. I'm sure she'll want to see this one. I can't believe it's already been 50 years since the first air date!
I'm sure she did. She just had dinner with her and the two grand kids that live with her. She likes to keep it quiet at Thanksgiving. We'll see her for dinner on Christmas Eve.
I'm all in for both! My family is so excited about The Waltons, that they all made me set reminders in their phones on Thanksgiving. I told them allll about you and how I've known for months because of your post! They were very impressed.
