THE WALTONS' HOMECOMING IS COMING TO CW THIS SUNDAY WITH BEN LAWSON, LOGAN SHROYER! CHEYENNE JACKSON, RYAN MCPARTLIN TO LEAD A CLUSTERFUNKE CHRISTMAS COMEDY CENTRAL MOVIE

 ARRIVES THIS SUNDAY
Since most of you are celebrating Thanksgiving holidays this weekend, here is something festive you can watch with your family this Sunday: November 28th CW will premiere their TV movie THE WALTONS'
The Waltons' Homecoming will air on CW this Sunday
HOMECOMING exactly fifty years after the launch of the classic original. Richard Thomas who played the lead role in the original movie now narrates the story.  
 
  THE WALTONS' HOMECOMING 
is set in the 1933 Depression Era, told through the eyes of 17 year old John Boy (played by Logan Shroyer), the eldest child of John (Ben Lawson) and

plans to make it home are threatened by a snow storm. Olivia sends John Boy out into the night to find his missing father (what a lovely, selfless mommy isn't she?), taking him on a journey that will change his life forever.

Premiering on Comedy Central December 4th is festive comedy movie A CLUSTERFUNKE CHRISTMAS which has two of our favourite hunks in the cast: Ryan McPartlin and Cheyenne Jackson! Meanwhile, Vella Lovell is real estate executive Holly who heads to a small town to buy the quaint Clüsterfünke Inn to make it a mega resort! While meeting the owners, Holly finds herself distracted by their handsome nephew Frank (Cheyenne Jackson) and she thinks whether she should complete the assignment and go back to her city life, or fall in love with him and find the spirit of Christmas. Rachel Dratch, who wrote ths cript, also stars in the movie.

I am guessing that the TV film CW is preparing will air during holidays marking the 50th anniversary of the original classic: Ben Lawson
Ben Lawson will be the father of the family
will play the patriarch of the family John Walton! THE WALTONS: HOME COMING is set in the 1933 Depression Era and told through the eyes of John Boy (Logan Shroyer), the 17 year old eldest child of John and Olivia Walton (Bellamy Young). His mother expects John Boy to help her raise his sisters and brothers, and his father expects him to follow in his footsteps to help support the family, but secretly, John Boy wants to be a writer. Times are hard enough in 1933, but to make matters worse, it looked to be the Waltons’ first Christmas without John Sr. When Olivia receives a letter that John Sr. is planning to make it home for Christmas after all, the family is thrilled and races to prepare for his homecoming. But when a storm threatens his arrival on Christmas Eve, and John Sr. is nowhere to be found, Olivia sends John Boy out into the night

Speaking of the 30s, Britbox has set cast for their three part adaptation of Agatha Christie's murder mystery WHY DIDN'T THEY ASK EVANS? Directed by Hugh Laurie, it will see Will Poulter playing
Alistair Petrie will play Bobby's father
