CALLUM TURNER TO LEAD
BOYS IN THE BOAT MOVIE
While we are waiting for our dearest Callum Turner to appear in Steven Spielberg's epic series Masters of the Air, which he is shooting for Apple as a continuation of his classic war saga Band of Brothers, he has already scored a lead in another period set project: as Deadline reports he will
star in George Clooney and Grant Heslov co directed BOYS IN THE BOAT movie which, based on a book by Daniel James Brown, tells the triumphant underdog story of the University of Washington men’s rowing team, who unexpectedly won gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Callum Turner looks like a bad boy...
ReplyDeleteThey often give him such roles, but he is such a nice boy actually. I'm glad they are now giving him good boy roles.
DeleteAre you subtly calling out Mary there? LOL Maurice looks cute!
ReplyDeleteWe know who is our Rat Queen LOL
DeleteOh, you guys are making me laugh. Too funny.
DeleteYou obviously have a reputation around Blogger LOL
DeleteOh definitely. I used to write a lot of rat related articles for Yahoo and post them on my blog too. But that was a few years ago.
DeleteYou're the rat expert.

ReplyDeleteI feel called out. LOL
That's too funny. But I do like the animated rats, they are cute. You knew I would like them.
Do not miss them next February!
DeleteThose mice are stinking adorable! Our best friends are trying to get us to invest in Apple, but they only have 1 show that they really recommend.
ReplyDeleteYes, most of their stuff ends up being disappointing.
DeleteThis is great news!! Boys in the Boat is a great book and fascinating story. I’m assuming Callum will play Joe Rantz who’s story was at the heart of the book. 💖
ReplyDeleteWe are ever so happy that our boy Callum is getting leading roles in new series.
DeleteI’m still trying to wrap my head around Spielberg doing shooting for Apple, yet, I look forward to seeing it :)
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like George Clooney, the premise makes me yawn, even with them going to the Olympics and all. I would definitely watch that before going anywhere near that animated movie though. Critters? No way! I do like the 3D work by the animators though. It looks good. I just can’t get with their choice of mammals. Ha!
Animators seems to really prefer rats and fish for some reason. And birds too.
