VALDEMAR EPIC FANTASY NOVELS TO BE TURNED INTO TV SERIES! BILLY EICHNER TO LEAD EX HUSBANDS GAY COMEDY MOVIE FOR AMAZON

   VALDEMAR EPIC FANTASY
NOVELS HEADING TO TELEVISION
It is the latest epic fantasy saga to get a TV series adaptation: as 'Deadline' reports, Radar Pictures has won TV rights on Mercedes Lackey's VALDEMAR novels 58 in total! It follows an openly gay heroic protagonist
Valdemar series has 58 novels in total!
Vanyel, the persecuted and abused son of a Valdemaran noble, who finds acceptance at Haven when he is Chosen by the Companion Yfandes. Companions like Yfandes are magical horse like beings with the power to bond with their Chosen and trigger the potential for psychic abilities and magic. But Vanyel discovers other things about himself at Haven as well. He discovers love in an unexpected place, and loses it, and nearly his own life. With Yfandes and his aunt, Herald Savil, he will travel to the home of the mysterious Hawkbrothers in search of healing and training and will grow from a troubled and heartbroken Trainee to become the most powerful Herald Mage in the history of Valdemar and the one hope for Valdemar against an implacable foe bent on eradicating magic from the Kingdom entirely.

  BILLY EICHNER TO LEAD
EX HUSBANDS FOR AMAZON
Billy Eichner will also produce
And I have to admit it sounds like it will be a really fun comedy movie. We are gay all the way today with the news that Billy Eichner and Paul Rudnick have written EX HUSBANDS which Amazon has won in a very expensive bidding war with other streamers. Eichner will also star in this comedy which tells the story of Daniel and Connor, who were madly in love when they became the first gay couple in NYC to get legally married in 2015 and poster boys for LGBTQ love and acceptance – with an epic wedding party to boot! The only problem now is: they’re getting an even more epic divorce. It’s a War of the Roses-style battle for the ages as Daniel and Connor viciously, hilariously and poignantly become Ex-Husbands.

  1. The story itself isn't bad, but I am just not into fantasy...and I don't know any actor that you mentioned above.

  2. I've never been much into comedy movies or shows. Maybe my sense of humor is too dark to find most comedies funny. lol

  4. 58 books!? That's a lot of reading! It would take me years to get through that many, seeing how I'm down to about a book a month these days :(

    1. I'm guessing these books are the ones that you read in one or two sittings. Like those cheap romance novels. But I'm not sure.

    2. So what you're saying is the author puts quantity over quality.
