JAKE GYLLENHAAL TO LEAD
OBLIVION MOVIE ADAPTATION
Two movies set in wastelands, but in totally different timelines. First up, today, the word around the net is that Jake Gyllenhaal has taken up
the lead role in the long awaited big screen adaptation of OBLIVION Song by The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman. He will also produce the film based on the graphic novel from 2018 that brings an apocalyptic science fiction story of protagonist Nathan Cole, a man who makes daily trips to try and rescue those still living in the apocalyptic hellscape of Oblivion, a part of Philadelphia lost a decade ago along with 300,000 of its citizens. The movie, which has a potential to become a possible franchise, poses a question: When faced with a cataclysmic event that permanently alters our lives, what would we choose to save?

I am not a western and science fiction fan, but I do like both Jake Gyllenhaal and Benjamin Bratt. So I am willing to give them a chance!
ReplyDeleteOblivion might be good as you can never be too prepared for the apocalypse! And ours has already started.
DeleteI like both of those actors but I really like Willem Dafoe. Not really into Westerns but I would give it a try with great actors.
ReplyDeleteHope you will like it.
DeleteAnyone have any info on a Benjamin Bratt sighting in Santa Fe NM?
ReplyDeleteNope.
DeleteI’d save the animals before people. People suck. I don’t think either of these are for me today.
ReplyDeleteThey do suck donkey ass.
DeleteI'm with Theresa. Neither are for me, and to boot, Jake Gyllenhaal stars in it. I'm not a fan of his or his sister.
ReplyDeleteI do not like his sister either and he himself has such a strange career. Outside Brokeback Mountain I do not think he ever did anything noticeable.
DeleteHe's cute. That's all he has going for him, methinks. Add me to the list of those who never cared for his sister, either.
DeleteAnd she is into directing now, so we haven't heard the last of her.
DeleteAs long as I don't have to see her, I'm okay with that LOL
DeleteShe mostly follows the indie crowd, so we are safe LOL
DeleteI thought this was going to be an unpopular opinion, but I guess not! Although, I don't think he's cute either.
DeleteHe is a bit, I wouldn't exactly say no to him LOL
DeleteHe's not gorgeous, there's something about his eyes that put me off. The rest of him though, I probably wouldn't say no to either LOL.
DeleteWe do ever so like them fury.
