   BUCKLEY'S CHANCE TRAILER
WITH BILL NIGHY AS GRANDPA!
Wouldn't he be high on your list of  people you'd like to be your grandpa? Bill Nighy is leading Australian family adventure BUCKLEY'S CHANCE which is out in USA August 13th! A year after the loss of his father,
Buckley's Chance arrives this August
Ridley (Milan Burch) and his mother, Gloria (Victoria Hill), move to Western Australian to live with Ridley's estranged grandfather Spencer. Once there Spencer tries to connect with Ridley but all efforts usually lead to conflict. Ridley ends up lost deep in the outback on a quest to try to get home. Meanwhile, Spencer and Gloria search the outback for Ridley. Spencer tries to reassure Gloria that her son will be OK, all the while trying to come to terms with the loss of his only child. While suffering the elements of the Australian outback (especially for a kid from New York), Ridley manages to save a dingo, Buckley, from a leg trap. The two develop a bond and both boy and dog try to survive the elements to get Ridley back home.

    1. He starred in a lot of TV sitcoms, I think Murphy Brown tragic revival was his last comedy gig.

  2. Being able to help out after winning the lottery would be nice. Sounds like a fun movie.

    1. It would be such a dream! I watched a documentary with British winners of Europe's biggest lottery and they bought houses to all of the members of his and her families, imagine being able to do that! Like, more than twenty people got homes from them.

  3. Think I've already said it before but, I've watched Jake McDorman in a few TV shows &, he's a good-looking dude πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‰

That movie cover, though... Not crazy about it, lol 😜 Btw, just watched Jungle Cruise! Don't remember what I commented about it back in the day in here but still went for it. It was watchable. I'd say it's more for the youngsters, though. 🀷‍♂️

    1. Hope it saves cinemas, but I think the forces of evil are conspiring against the resurrection of cinemas. It is much suitable for streamers to have all the movies for themselves because not everybody goes to cinema, but everybody has a TV.

  4. Heartwarming is exactly what I need right now, but I’m not too sure about coming to terms with a lost child. My anxiety has been through the roof. We need something like the Waltons remake. :)

    1. Jerry and Marge could be heartwarming, they are giving away money to the poor, methinks.

    1. There is always at least one Australian film that steals our hearts away each year!

  6. I've never heard of that couple, but what an incredible way to selflessly give back to the community. So many of those lottery winners end up broke a few years after winning and it's just sad. If I won, I have a small list of people that would benefit (that includes you!) and the rest would be invested.

    1. I was just thinking last night that I'd buy us houses in England or Ireland and we would move there and I would open a fashion house and you and Jason can work there too LOL
