The film is noted as an authentic description of the Amazon folklore from the 'sons of the Amazon', for the Zelada brothers themselves, who are directors and producers of the film, were raised in the Amazon Basin similar to the story of the main character Ainbo. This co production between Peru and Holland, follows a girl who was born and grew up in the deepest jungle of the Amazon, Candámo. She lives in an uncharted civilization that rests on the back of the most powerful Mother Spirit in the Amazon, Turtle Motelo Mama. One day she discovers that her homeland is being threatened and realizes that there are other humans in the world besides

DeleteKind of reminds me of Ferngully from the 90's I think it was. My little sister and brother used to watch that one at least once a week.

DeleteThis one looks like a lot of fun. I bet the kiddies would love it. When I read "Amazon" in the title, my first thought was, finally something good for the kids on Prime! Wrong Amazon. :)
