THE SEVEN DEATHS OF EVELYN HARDCASTLE best selling novel by Stuart
Turton will be turned into a seven episode series by Sophie Petzal: it
is a mind bending murder mystery. All set within the grounds of a
sprawling country estate, this high concept thriller presents an
intriguing puzzle – how do you solve a murder when every time you are
getting close to the answer, you wake up in someone else’s body?
LOCKWOOD & CO will be another popular book series to be turned into an eight episode show. Joe Cornish will adapt Jonathan Stroud's novels set in London, where the most gifted teenage ghost hunters venture nightly into perilous combat with deadly
spirits: amidst the many corporate, adult-run agencies one stands alone: independent of any commercial imperative or adult supervision – a tiny startup, run by two teenage boys and a newly arrived, supremely psychically gifted girl, a renegade trio destined to unravel a mystery that will change the course of history!

Half Bad sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt ain't half bad LOL
DeleteI have read the books many times, the story is amazing. Think of Harry Potter, the Hunger Games and a little bit of Twilight in the same story. I have been waiting for a movie of series coming up for years, and I hope that it will be good.
DeleteHope it won't disappoint you!
DeleteJason would never win the match against the pesky bee. He'd have to stock up on epi pens and pray he's got a good fly swatter on hand before the bee takes him out.
ReplyDeletePoor Jason, is he still without the shots? Fecking Osamacare.
DeleteYou had me all engaged and then I read "pesky bee" and started laughing!! At least he tried to fight back. I'd run away as fast as I could.
ReplyDeleteGiven it is famous Mr. Bean it will probably be wildly hilarious and with no dialogues.
DeleteWe do get 2 pens a year. I keep one in my car and one in his, that way we always have one close by. My best friend's husband is also allergic to bees, so between the 2 of us, we're usually always prepared for the worst. They are awfully expensive though. I don't know how families without good insurance can afford them. We have mediocre insurance and it's still really expensive out of pocket for us :(
ReplyDeleteI imagine it will be even worse now that Camala has stolen the elections.
DeleteProbably. We'll probably have more access to it at affordable counter prices, but our taxes are going to skyrocket to pay for those who don't have insurance. When Obamacare kicked in, I started hemorrhaging money because my medical expenses went through the roof to pay for other people. Look, I'm not opposed to paying more so the less fortunate has access to medical care, but when people, like my brothers and sisters, who are able bodied and can work but choose not to, get free and better medical care than I do AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIRS, it pisses me the F off. Too many people sit here and milk the system and I am not okay with that. I told Jason it's getting to the point that I want to divorce him so I can sign up for the welfare plan too and get everything for free.
DeleteHehehe... you'd be a welfare case but taken care of medically, ironically. We do live in a world without much sense.
DeleteHalf Bad is 👌 CANT WAIT!
