VIACOM CBS PREPARING PERIOD SET TV SERIES ON LEGENDARY SPANISH FASHION DESIGNER CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA!

We already had a series on Gianni Versache, we're getting Ewan McGregor one on Halston, and now we will get a TV series on famous Spanish fashion designer CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA from Viacom CBS and Testament of
The series will be done at CBS International

     The series will depict the life of Balenciaga, who helped lead a revolution in fashion, with his precision and perfectionism earning him the admiration of contemporaries, including Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy, and Coco Chanel. In 1917, at the age of 22, he established his first fashion house in San Sebastian, and later opened fashion houses in Madrid and Barcelona, before moving to Paris in 1937, where his work won the admiration of an influential cosmopolitan clientèle. In the 1950s, Balenciaga unveiled never-before-seen styles and shapes, which were considered radical designs at
Pan's Labyrinth's Frida Torresblanco is producing
the time. As you remember, the same studio is also preparing a series on Italian female artist Artemisia Gentileschi, one of the most accomplished painters in the Baroque period!

    1. Should be really beautiful especially having that era in mind, the fashion was really cool then. Especially in the early 50s when people were sick with war and wanted some glamour and colours in their lives.

    1. he is probably one of top ten most famous designers ever. Very refined and comfy and simplistic in style. I personally think they ruined his legacy with the ugly sneakers they've released a few years ago and those sneakers that you pull on like a sock.
