  1. Happy Birthday, Dezzy! I hope you get your very own expensive looking Viking warrior as a special birthday treat!

  2. Hope you had a wonderful celebration. It's exciting every time you share something new coming up on Netflix. Speaking of which, I just watched your recommended Love Wedding Repeat on the day of its release.

    1. OMG, Love Wedding Repeat was horrible :) I watched it last night too and it was the most embarrassingly unpleasant movie ever. The rude dialogues were probably written by a horny 13th year boy. Don't know how all those great actors agreed to star in it. I kept cringing every second!

  3. We haven't seen any of this series, yet, but maybe it's good for a quarantine binge. I'm assuming this is one where we have to wait for the kids to fall asleep first?

    1. It is absolutely bingeworthy as it has just eight episodes per season. It is not for kids, no, but also not as disgusting and evil as GOT was.

  4. My mom has been bitching about how long it has taken to get this season out, so she'll be thrilled to see this trailer. This is her favorite show and she's been itching for this new season.

I do hope you were able to find a little happiness on your birthday yesterday. Did you at least indulge in a little treat for your big day?

    1. It usually take them a year and a half to give us a new season, one would think this one has been on air for a decade, but it hasn't.

I mostly slept through it as the day brings no thrills nor nice moments for me, but I did order a new sleeveless hoodie for myself from Lonsdale, as I already have a light grey one and it is very comfy over a tight white T-shirt when I go shopping on foot to the downtown, so I ordered a darker one too yesterday. I also ate a whole bag of orange filled Easter eggs on Sunday to numb meself with sugar LOL I did not notice I ate the whole bag until it got down to the last one.

    2. I do feel like this one has been on the air for over a decade. It's incredible it takes them over a year and a half just to do 8 episodes.

It's ok to eat the whole bag on your birthday. I don't mind turning another year older, but like you, it's not a big deal to celebrate. People were disappointed to hear I didn't do anything special for my 40th. I'm just happy to wake up to see another year and that's celebration enough for me. The hoodie sounds comfy! I'm glad you treated yourself to something nice, dear!

    3. Netflix is a bitch when it comes to consistency of dates and regular intervals in between seasons.

It's either buying that or medicines, these days.

  5. I've heard of this show, thought it was that cable Nick Jonas show Kingdom at first but, unlike that one, never watched this one.

    Nick J wins.

    2. Oh, I believe you about the last part. I do like that part of it, shirtless muscle warriors, that surely is a turn on. Think I'll have to put my taste aside and watch a movie or a TV show that has some real men who are fit, from that time.

    3. Lead actor Alexander Dreymon is gay in private life too, he had a really nice gay period set movie about ten years ago with Matt Smith from Dr Who. It was set in WW2 Berlin.

  6. I get frustrated with the length in btwn seasons as well. However I figure each episode is close to an hour so its really like 16 episodes. Plus, all those fight scenes prob take a lot of time to edit!

    1. It is because they are at a streamer not at a network so they don't follow a strict production and airing schedule. Although this one has just four or five seasons, we've been with it for almost a decade thanks to those horrible pauses between the seasons, it is not nice especially as they have such short seasons. They could at least shoot 12 episodes or 14 per season. But the last season was quite weak and I think the fans are getting sick of the repetition in the plots, so maybe it is good that seasons are short. Who knows. I do love the crew.
