Leon Joosen, who worked as animator on Little Mermaid and Space Jam is directing.
The Land of Sometimes is in preproduction stage |
I'm sure the kids will make me watch both of these!!!
ReplyDeleteYou might even enjoy the first one with the right cast :)
DeleteNever heard of it. Well, neither of them.
ReplyDeleteI did grow to like Helena Bonham Carter through the years, though.
That's something too :)
DeleteBoth look great♥
ReplyDeleteTotally
DeleteThe Land of Sometimes appeals to me :)
ReplyDeleteThe poster promises delightful visuals and animation.
DeleteI was too old for the first book when it came out, so I'm not familiar with it, but it sounds cute. They both do, actually!
ReplyDeleteIt was already adapted into a TV series at ITV at the beginning of the 2000s.
DeleteThe Land of Sometimes .. , this film is good, full of entertainment and good to watch for all ages.
ReplyDeleteI will also watch it.
We will too!
DeleteI haven’t heard of either of these books, but they both sound fun! Convicted criminals? I hope of nothing too serious. :)
ReplyDeleteWe finally watched Onward since it was released early on Disney+. I cried! It was a very touching film.
It was the first film released on Disney + the same week it was released into cinemas :) They say there will be more of Disney movies planned for cinemas moving directly to Disney + this year.
DeleteThe more I hear, the more I love Disney! Did you hear that top level executives including the CEO, took 50% pay cuts to lessen the burden on employees? LOVE!
DeleteGiven that their boss's salary is equal to what a smaller country earns within a year, they should give it all to the poor :)
DeleteAgreed.. We each got (2) weeks furlough at my job. The CEO gets on the team call and brags that he is also participating in the (2) week furlough which is a $575,000 savings for the company. Ummm, you make $575,000 a pay check (doesn't even include bonuses or stock options) and we're all losing two weeks pay!! I don't know how we didn't all erupt in anger on that call. It's all about corporate greed.
DeleteSuch is the country of USA, sadly :( Money before people. I just hope our government will have some helping measures for publishers as well, otherwise it might be a tragic year for my profession. They should at least cut the taxes for the contract workers and such things.
DeleteI would think that most governments would need to provide assistance to everyone under a certain income level this year. A depression is looking more and more likely, sadly. We can only hope for it to end sooner than we think.
DeleteI don't think it will end until the end of summer, but even when it ends it will be a very chaotic world, especially since economy problems in your country usually impact the whole world. Hope aliens arrive to help and save us all :)
