Looks good! I'd watch it, if I ever get the chance to see it.
ReplyDeleteIt will be on Netflix, or maybe it already is!
DeleteI will definitely add this to my Netflix watch list.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching it tonight.
DeleteFinally, something worth watching on Netflix, though I did get sucked into that Tiger King show on there recently. It was a train wreck that you just couldn't look away from.
ReplyDeleteI'm staying away from that one big time.
DeleteDid anyone see the presidential address recently where a reporter asked Trump if he'd pardon The Tiger King? & the cheese doodle said.. "I'll look into it." Insert bulging eye emoji, please. :)
DeleteThat was actually misinterpreted in a typical nasty liberal way. He said he DID NOT KNOW who that is and that he would look into THAT, not into pardoning him, but due to evil media now everybody thinks he said othervise. Not that Trumpie isn't an idiot in most other cases LOL
DeleteI've been watching with two kids tugging at me while cooking dinner so it's possible... but it's hard to listen to him. All he says is "the best things that's ever been done before", "fabulous job, the most fabulous job that's ever been done in the history of Earth", etc.
DeleteHe's a man of many fabulous words :)
DeleteMany fabulous words. The biggest and best words ever! LOL Though I do think the media turned his words against him about Tiger King. I am sure he has more pressing issues to deal with than learn who this hillbilly, tiger hoarding, animal abusing piece of crap is. While you do get sucked into his antics, that SOB better not get an early release from prison!
DeleteI've seen somewhere photos of his boyfriend who got new teeth and is looking tres hot as hillbilly gets, of course.
DeleteWow, I'll definitely be watching this one. How incredibly sad. I'm all about a show that can bring awareness to a real problem..hopefully it has a happy ending with lots of amended laws.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be overly optimistic, cases like these have always existed, sadly. It is scary when you are left without identity or state. I read recently a story about a gay teen whose father was beating him so he runaway from home, but his mom, hoping that would make him return, stole his ID from his suitcase before he left, so he ended up in the capital city without any ID and was thus unable not just to rent a flat, or find a job, but also to make a new ID because here you need an address for that and he cannot find a flat because he has no ID. Truly horrible.
DeleteThis is happening here too. One of my dispatchers has a brother who is unable to get into housing or food banks because he lost his birth certificate.. he's unable to get a birth certificate because he doesn't have an address. Long story short, he sleeps on a park bench, or at least he was last we spoke. Terrible, horrible situations! Although, for the brother, I think it was his own irresponsibility that got him in that situation.
DeleteThis show seems different though. To have no identification b/c you are mentally ill is crazy!
It's like he does not exist.
DeleteHe had five husbands in total and each one is hotter than the other!
DeleteWho? The Tiger one?
DeleteThat's really frightening that it's based on a true story!
ReplyDeleteThere are many similar stories which is even scarier.
DeleteAlways love me some Kate.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Dezzzmeiser.
You stay safe now.
Winslet and Beckinsale are Kates, Blanchett is Cate :)
DeleteCate Blanchett is fierce in that shot, damn! :)
ReplyDeleteShe is really good in the show, I watched the first episode last night and it is very engaging. She's a good singer too.
