Here is something for you that is starting as soon as next week: new sf series THE PASSAGE will start airing tomorrow, Monday January 14th on Fox loosely based on the famous trilogy of novels by Justin Cronin spanning 1,000 years in the life of Amy Bellafonte, as she moves from being manipulated in a government conspiracy through to protecting mankind in a dystopian vampire future. With the cast led by our favourite Mark Paul Gosselaar, the series will air in ten hourlong episodes.

THE PASSAGE FOCUSES ON 
The series is based on Justin Cronin's novels
Project Noah, a secret medical facility where scientists are experimenting with a dangerous virus that could lead to the cure for all disease, but also carries the potential to wipe out the human race. When a young girl, Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney), is chosen to be a test subject, Federal Agent Brad Wolgast (Mark Paul Gosselaar) is the man who is tasked with bringing her to Project Noah. Ultimately, however, Wolgast becomes her surrogate father, as he tries to protect her at any cost. Brad and Amy's journey will force them to confront

  3. The title 'the Passage' reminds me of a well-known saying 'Life is a journey (passage)not a destination'.
    The journey here is the experiments with the dangerous virus that will perhaps lead to a cure to all diseases (the desired destination).

    Love the girl's outfit.

  4. As much as we love Mark Paul, I think this one will be a pass for me. I'm with Debra on being so sick of all of this Sci Fi popping up lately.

    1. I will avoid this one too, it is too procedural for me, but I do ever so adore Mark Paul. I also do not appreciate the blackwashing of the little girl. Those things should work both ways.

    2. Those things should work both ways, but we are living in times where it's offensive to be white, so this isn't the last of it. It's like when people were up in arms with Target because their ad ran a white girl wearing "Annie" clothes when the movie came out. I guess people forgot that the original Annie was a little red headed white girl. As long as we keep letting liberals get away with their ridiculousness, it will just continue.
