the good old Soviet Union, which enables them to keep up with the west in the development of atomic weapons, and remains undetected as a spy for over a half a century.

  1. I like the name of the movie. The word 'red'- short and concise, but powerful, as it says it all.

Nice posters of the two actresses sharing one role only at different points in time: the young Joan and the older Joan. So, Judy Dench is not the only protagonist, and not the one who spied for the russians, but we may be sure she'll play her part well.

Over the years, Russia seemed to have been quite successful in recruiting Brits for its Intelligence services, especially among students and young intellectuals convinced by leftist ideology.

It would be interesting to watch Red Joan.
How does she say in the trailer- "I'm fighting for the living". She really believed that.

    1. I love the title too! I also love that red stands for heroic Russia whose blood has been shed so many times by the outer enemies and yet she stands strong and proud.
She was probably right - only if all powers had a nuclear bomb the balance of peace was able to be achieved then.
