1ST BIG STUDIO GAY ROMANCE
Nick Robinson is Simon in love!
Probably the most anticipated YA adaptation to arrive this year is movingly beautiful adaptation of Becky Albertalli's Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda called LOVE, SIMON in the movie version which is hitting big screens this April starring lovely Nick Robinson in probably the first big studio romantic drama ever with two gays as the pair in love. Directed by Greg Berlanti LOVE, SIMON also stars Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Garner as Simon's parents, alongside Colton Haynes and Katherine Langford as his friends.
Love, Simon is out in cinemas this April

LOVE, SIMON wants you to know that everyone deserves a great love story. But for Simon it's complicated: no-one knows he's gay and he doesn't know who the anonymous classmate is that he's fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, scary and life changing. The movie comes from the same producers who brought is The Fault in Our Stars! The actor who plays Blue, the boy Simon is in love, is being kept a secret!

    You know I'll be on the lookout for All The Bright Places. It was such a lovely book. I am sure the movie will be a real tearjerker as well.

      I hope the movie will be better since the book had a lot of bad places and the ending was poorly done, the movie could fix it, give meaning to all the places they've been to (the book covers is superficially) and end the film with the chapter from Finch, minutes before he drowns himself (which book does not have even though it would've given it a depth it lacked due to Jennifer's habit to rush things up and lose the thread somewhere at the middle of the book which was also the proble mwith Holding Up the Universe). And hope they find a really great actor for Finch.

      Well, it is Indiana. We don't have many gems to visit here lol. I am looking forward to who they cast as Finch and Violet alike. I do have a feeling that the movie will play out a little better than the book.

      I never did read Holding Up The Universe, though it is in my online wish list at my library. Eventually, I will get to it.

      Nevermind, I did read it. Wasn't very memorable I suppose. I liked All The Bright Places much better. I remember just reading it out of the sense that since I started it I might as well finish it. Definitely not one of my favorite reads.

      It was good till the middle when she turns it into a cheap love story and a rather implausible one instead of just making it a coming of age story about how the two of them, Libby and Jack, dealt with their health issues and came out of the battle stronger. The love story was just kitschy and mediocre.

      she definitely needs me as her editor, I'm shocked how some US publisher hasn't hired me already as their editor I'd bring some quality into the YA mess in no time

      Because the US has its head up its ass where talent is concerned. We need more Dezzy's to set things right. I demand it! (Not that that has even done much good, but at least I put it out there in the universe lol) I see blogger is finally publishing comments a lot faster. Weeeeeee!

      as someone who works in YA publishing, I'm more than happy that this year will have more of these meaningful teen stories than gorry YA dystopia.
