FIRST NOLLY IMAGE
WITH HELENA BONHAM CARTER
ITV has send us the first image of Helena Bonham Carter in NOLLY three part series that has just started production following the unceremonious sacking of the classic British TV star Noele (or Nolly to her friends) who was a
legend in her own lifetime. As flame haired widow Meg Richardson in the long running soap opera Crossroads, she was one of the most famous people in Britain. Then in 1981, at the height of the show’s success and the peak of Nolly’s fame, she was axed without ceremony, without warning and with no explanation. With the boss’s words “all good things must come to an end” ringing in her ears, Noele Gordon found herself thrown out of the show that was her life for over 18 years. Augustus Prew joins the cast as Tony Adams, Nolly’s Crossroads co-star, devoted friend, confidante, and her occasional chauffer.

THE MENU TRAILER
WILL RUIN YOUR APPETITE
Searchlight Pictures has, meanwhile, released the first teaser trailer for its November 18th dark comedy thriller THE MENU, starring Anya Taylor Joy, Ralph Fiennes, and Nicholas Hoult. In this movie directed by Mark Mylod, Anya and Nicholas play a couple who travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises. And when you watch the teaser you will realise they are truly shocking. John Leguizamo, Janet McTeer, and Aimee Carrero are also invited to the spooky dinner. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think:
Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes are both great actors. I am looking forward to these two. The trailer of The Menu is great!
ReplyDeleteIt is very spooky indeed.
DeleteLove Anya Taylor in 'The Queen’s Gambit' too!
ReplyDeleteI loved her in The Miniaturist, her first series that made her famous.
DeleteSounds like a Netflix move. Cancel a show in the height of its success without any explanation and leaving actors and audiences pissed in the wake of it.
ReplyDeleteThe Menu looks a bit creepy. It seems some of them are losing their minds after their taste testing.
Dahlink, have you been trying many times to comment, because Blogger has been sending your comments to spam box recently LOL In most blogs, you have to disable browser protection in order to comment these days, it is terrible.
DeleteNo, the show wasn't cancelled, only her LOL As far as I got it the show will depict it in the style of feminist agenda.
No, comments always show up here. The only time I had an issue was with Jax blog sending mine to spam. And then there was a stretch that my comments wouldn't go through on another blog, but that seems to be fixed now. This whole commenting system is whack. They should have left well enough alone.
DeleteI use Firefox and comments are closed everywhere unless I turn off the protection. Firefox has a very strong protection so it can be annoying oftentimes.
DeleteI have to circle back to watch the trailer with sound. I like shocking surprises.. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt is quite shocking at some point LOL
