 LIFE AFTER LIFE SERIES
COMING TO BBC NEXT WEEK
Life After Life starts next Tuesday on BBC 2
Amazon and BBC Two's four part series LIFE AFTER LIFE will arrive April 19th, Tuesday next week to BBC Two and will then be available for streaming on BBC iPlayer based on a novel by Kate Atkinson.
In the series Thomasin McKenzie plays Ursula Todd, who is born to Sylvie and Hugh (Sian Clifford and James McArdle) one night in 1910, but dies before she draws her first breath. On that same night in 1910, Ursula is reborn and survives. Time and time again, living and dying in different circumstances, Ursula is reborn into a new, alternative iteration of life once more. This compelling story follows Ursula as she navigates each new life, through a critical era which spans two world wars, an encounter with Hitler and major life events. But what is it that Ursula so desperately needs to stay alive for? Can a perfect life ever be lived? Can the course of history ever be changed? Can Ursula save the world? What if we could live life again and again? Jessica Brown Findlay, Jessica Hynes, Patsy Ferran, Sean Delaney, Harry Michell, all star as well in the new series.

    1. I think so, although the fact they moved it to BBC 2 makes me a bit scared.

  5. I feel like we've heard about Life After Life for quite some time now. I'll definitely give that one a watch.

How was your birthday, dahlink? Did you enjoy a nice quiet day of books and tea and tasty treats?

    1. We have indeed, and at the end they pushed it onto BBC Two which means it is not good LOL The cast is certainly terrible. BBC has self destructed itself in last two years. I used to watch tons of their programmes, now I haven't for years.

    2. I've head this about BBC Two a lot lately. I may have to pass on that one then.

    3. Not Two but the whole BBC, One included. I used to passionatelly follow their Sunday evening series, now they haven't shot anything period set and are mostly airing crime and thrillers.

  6. Wow. How can they have all that growth on the moon without a dome?
