Hemlines are up, The Beatles are on the radio and crime is at the highest level on record. Extortion, robbery and murder are rife through the capital. Everyone knows the gangsters responsible, but no one will go on the record. Detective Nipper Read (Stephen Moyer) is tasked with the impossible mission of bringing the city back to the rule of law. As he faces bent cops, political backstabbing, and terrified witnesses, he becomes increasingly obsessed with breaking the code of silence. He will push the rules, his moral compass, and his own sense of who he is, to breaking point. The true story of the price paid by the man who caught the notorious Kray twins.

 THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME
STARRING CASPER VAN DIEN
The movie should be out this year
There is also an American action thriller movie THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME which should get a release sometime later this year starring action stars from the previous decades Casper Van Dien, Tom Berenger, Bruce Dern and Judd Nelson alongside Christopher Tamburello in the lead role. The movie is both directed and written by Justin Lee. Here is the official plot and also a rather well done poster: A father and son are shipwrecked on a remote island where they are caught up in a trophy hunt held by its mysterious owner, a merciless man who uses the land as an elite hunting preserve for stalking the most dangerous game of all: human.

 THE WRESTLING PRINCESS
AN EPIC FROM MONGOLIA
The movie is based on Mongolian legend
I think we actually had one or two historical movies coming from Mongolia before here at the spy's but here is another one: THE WRESTLING PRINCESS also known as Princess Khutulun should be completed according to my humble knowledge (it is not like I have actual spies over in Mongolia) sometime later this year, but we, believe it or not, already have a rather nice trailer for this historical action adventure movie. It is a feature film based on the true story of the legendary Princess Khutulun of Mongolia, known in history as the “wrestling princess”, a descendant of Genghis Khaan. You probably remember princess Khutulun from Marco Polo epic series which streamed on Netflix last decade.

  1. A Mongolian movie sounds really intriguing. Have never watched one before, and the trail of the “wrestling princess” looks rather interesting, though brutal.

    1. They did have a brutal history. I found myself last year watching clips from Mongolian Voice at YouTube LOL You wouldn't believe what nice singers they have. Beats US Voice any day. But Ukrainian, Russian and French Voice are still my fave.

  4. Code of Silence looks good. I grew up that way and find myself inadvertently teaching my kids the same. "Snitches get stitches" is something engraved in my brain!

  5. Many music tunes of Mongolia are popular here. I think the Wrestling Princess sounds really good.
