embroiled in a dangerous web of secrets, as no one and nothing is what it seems. Check out the confusing trailer below and tell us what you think. I hear the ending of the book itself is very unpredictable.

    1. Yep, papa's found her job :) But to be honest she is not that bad, especially not as horrible as Maya Hawke is, for example, or Meryl Streep's daughter Mammie Gummer.

  4. At first I thought NO, but then the trailer left me a little intrigued? Not as spooky as it is mysterious.

    1. It might be spooky if it turns out the wife is a ghost or hypnotised :) Not that we wouldn't go adulterous for Bateman :)

    2. I think she's popping some pills and we're seeing her visions!

  5. I liked the book. Yes, the ending was a bit of a shocker. Left me feeling a little sad for the young mother, but overall, a good book. I'll have to watch the film to see how it compares.

    1. I hear they left the most shocking scene out of the series.

    2. Well, then what was the point of making it at all if they want to pick and choose what to include from the book?

    3. That is how they do it these days. I'm slowly finishing that series in which Keeley Hawes cannot find a fridge in her house and I think she killed her husband herself.

    4. She probably did. Probably got tired of looking for shit around the house and lost her mind.

    5. No, she discovers that he had a son just after he died :) And then his parents want to sell the house and kick her out because just before dying he gave the house to them as a present to avoid some bankruptcy issues. So Keeley is really pissed off :) so she buries him in the yard of the house so that nobody would want to buy it as the parents want to sell it to cover the taxes for receiving the gift. It is such a mess.

    6. Sounds like some hillbilly drama LOL. That's some crazy stuff the backwards hicks would try pulling off here.

    7. In last night's episode she finds out he left some sperm in a bank LOL and plans how to steal it so that she could inseminate herself with it (as they never officially married so she cannot legally take the sperm).

    8. She sounds like a certified lunatic.
