  1. Sounds like there will be a few good shows coming soon.

    1. It is good to know that, unlike UK that is making less and less epic shows due to being faced to make them woke by their government, other countries are still making and planning them.

    2. Agreed, I hate it when they try to change history... I wish the makers would just portray history as accurately as possible without an agenda.

    3. They want to but woke governments won't let them do it, sadly. BBC for example refused ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL allegedly because it has no black characters, and it went to Channel 5 and became their biggest hit in half a decade.

  2. Alexander sounds really good. Shot in Greece, so you know it will have some great scenery. I did love Tudors, so that attachment there gives me hope for this one!

    1. Hope they don't cast some idiot like Colin Farrell with a blond wig in the lead role.

    2. Ugh! I agree. That would be THE WORST!

    3. That film was so bad. I still have nightmares from Jared Leto's role and Colin's wig.

    4. I suspect if Oliver Stone had another go at that movie he would change a few things. I did enjoy parts of it though, but that was the problem, it felt like lots of bits that didn’t fit together, hopefully, with 10 episodes, this may be more cohesive.

    5. And when Stone was doing his Alexander, Bazz Luhrman was supposed to do his version with Leo Di Caprio as Alex and Nicole Kidman as Olympia and Russell Crowe as Darius. He stopped the project when Stone's became such a flop.

  3. Theresa's comment was like she read my mind. I was sold at "shot in Greece". Assuming it's not shot in Athens, it may be worth the watch just for the views alone. :)

    1. They should be shooting in Macedonia if you ask me, the real home of Alexander, you know. The ex republic of my old country.
