PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON NEW HISTORICAL TV SERIES VOSKRESENSKIY SET IN THE 1912 NORTHERN RUSSIAN CAPITAL ST. PETERSBURG

PERIOD SET DRAMA FROM RUSSIA
New series will air sometime this year in Russia
Just like it happened in 2020, when the genre of period set series was saved in the corona infested year by the international productions and we've seen German, French and Spanish shows saving the day, I think it will be the same this year too. Russians have already announced a few period set series, and beside The Cathedral on Peter the Great, another costume drama that will hit the small screens this year is VOSKRESENSKIY which is coming to Russia 1 in eight episodes with actor Yuri Kolokolnikov transforming into a talented pre WW1 detective

  1. I've been periodically watching Behind Bars which is a documentary that takes places in the prisons. You get in the minds of some of these killers through the show and it's hard to listen to. They have no remorse and matter of factly blame their crimes on their mental disorders. This show looks pretty good! I wonder if the show will get into the killer's motives?

    1. Well crime does happen when people lack conscience. Conscience is what stops us from all being criminals LOL

  4. This does sound good. I can get behind some good crime solving. I agree about a nice raincoat. That's something I've never had. Found a cute Michael Kors one at the outlet store last year, but opted to get a new handbag and leather jacket instead. After that purchase, I was totally out of monies for the raincoat :(

    1. I've never had a leather jacket. I have a windjacket navy blue that is something close to raincoat but I cannot zip it up thanks to my belly, lol, I would like something knee long, simple and classy but also modern. I'd definitely wear that cape coat no matter what people would think of me in the streets, they laugh at me any way... I'm used to it... Hope you find a nice raincoat. I might go shopping this month. But I hate shopping, because you cannot find anything when you are walrussy like me.

  5. Yes, knee long, simple yet classy is the way to go with a raincoat. I'm not sure if I'd like black, gray or tan though.

I'm sure you look dashing in everything you buy for yourself. A cape coat, who would laugh at that? Jealous people, that's who!

    1. I'd like navy or mossy green one. I don't do black, unless I have to, and light colours don't cover up my belly.
