TARAJI P. HENSON TO KEEP
ON BURNIN' AS 'PROUD MARY'

'VICTORIA WOODHULL' SERIES
ON 1ST FEMALE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE IN AMERICA
Here's another new period set project for you: Neal H. Katz' novels
Outrageous: The VICTORIA WOODHULL Saga will be turned into a ten part
mini series! As 'Deadline' reports, Victoria Woodhull was the first
woman to run for U.S. President back in 1872. The series will chronicle
the life of Woodhull and her sister Tennessee Claflin, who was the first
woman to be invited to address Congress on the issue of women’s right
to vote and the first woman to own a publishing house and newspaper,
Woodhull & Claflin’s Weekly. They also were the first women to
own and operate a New York brokerage house.

The Victorial Woodhull series sounds just like my cup of tea!
ReplyDeleteI knew it would!
DeleteTaraji P. Henson, Neal McDonough, and Danny Glover? Now that's an interesting cast.
ReplyDeletewe do like Taraji
DeletePhew. For a minute there I thought Proud Mary was going to be another movie about Tina Turner. Glad it's not.
ReplyDeletewhat, you don't like my Tina? Tina's da original Cookie Lyon aka da Queen Moma!
DeleteLove me some Tina, just not ready for yet another movie about her life ;)
DeleteI've never seen one, I must admit
DeleteI'd much rather Outrageous than Proud Mary the wet nurse assassin.
