  'THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN'
NEW POSTER AND TRAILER
Just two trailers for you today, starting with the second trailer for Emily Blunt's THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN which will choo choo its way into cinemas this October  following divorced Rachel Watson who goes to work in London by train passing every day by her old house in which she lived in with her husband (Justin Theroux), who still lives there, with his new wife (Rebecca Ferguson) and child. As she attempts to not focus on her pain, she starts watching a couple who live a few houses down - Megan and Scott Hipwell (Luke Evans). She creates a wonderful dream life for them in her head, about how they are a perfect happy family. And then one day, as the train passes, she sees something shocking, filling her with rage. The next day, she wakes up with a horrible hangover, various wounds and bruises, and no memory of the night before. She has only a feeling: something bad happened. Then come the TV reports: Megan Hipwell is missing. Rachel becomes invested in the case and trying to find out what happened to Megan, where she is, and what exactly she herself was up to that same night Megan went missing.

  3. Can't wait to see both of these. They both look intense. I read the book The Girl on the Train and enjoyed it. Hopefully the movie will be as good.

    1. Wait til you have kids, Adam. You'll never want to hear that one again. I had to read that story every night to my daughter when she was little. I'm sure it's permanently embedded in my brain now.

    2. I did a lot of research in the vegetarian section of my grocers this weekend. As soon as we get back from vacay, I am going to try seitan and some of the breakfast veggie sausages they have. I am a little miffed at how expensive these items are, so I am going to have to see if I can find a recipe to make them on my own.

    3. you should probably stay away from the ready-made products even if they're vegetarian, since you never know what they have inside, and you now need to stay away 100% from anything industrial, even canned things. From now on - cook everything from the natural ingredients from the scratch :) You can even make your own seitan (it's made just from flour and water) but I don't know if flour is good for you?

  6. ThIs got me excited! I can't wait to watch Girl on a Train. They changed the venue to NYC though. I would have preferred they capture the exact landscape described in the novel but I trust the movie makers will keep the suspense and twisted plot the book is known for.
